Howdy @Xplow420! Welcome to Overgrow! Jumping right on in with the auto flower. :sunglasses:
Let me link up the introduction thread. Introduce Yourself @OG (Part 3) that way the rest of the madhouse can say hello.
As far as nutrients are you running soil or Coco? I’m more of a soil guy but we have tons of talented Coco, DWC folks around too.

I’m just a fellow growmie. Fox farm has a couple different bottles, I think its a 3 part that is pretty popular. I tend to go bat and bird guano with some compost. Typically for veg you want something with higher Nitrogen then increase your Phosphorus as you head into bloom but since your running auto’s I am unsure how to advise, I do not have any experience with auto flowers. Let me call in a couple folks who might be able to help more. @LoveDaAutos
@Carty
What kind of fertilizer should a new grower start with for the auto’s?

I cannot think of an easier more user friendly nutrient than Mega Crop 1 part from @GreenleafNutrients

I’m happy to assist. This place is pretty damn cool. They let me in a while back and I roam around chatting up folks. My summer grow got canceled this year so I poke around drooling at everyone’s thread to get my fix. :man_facepalming:

Cheers pal like I say this is my first time so just hoping for it to go smoothly had a issue as I’m using a fixed 600w hps light in a 1m by 1m by 2m tall tent and temps we’re getting 35c plus so gone back to my small led and going to get a omega adjustable ballast in the morning so I can drop it down to 250w hoping it will then keep it slot lower

The heat from those HID is real. I am guessing the switch to LED cools it down to what is manageable in the tent. Basement and garage grows are typically more HID friendly.

Welcome to Overgrow my friend.
Autos you say!?! How exciting! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

How you grown them before? Are they fem?
Whats in your soil? Have you monitored the pH of your water?
Ok, done with the 3rd degree…for now. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

In my experience, most autos do not need a massive amount of feeding to be happy. There are alot of dry ammendments that work great for soil, are cheap, and very forgiving. Dr. Earth comes to mind. I use a couple of their products to make teas and pre-ammend my soils.:+1:t4:

To bring my baby autos into the world, I’m old school. Paper towel method(like everything else, lol), then staight to soil after a tail. Ensuring that I do not plant too deep.
This soil in their final pot mind you.
Trying to transplant autos is usually a recipe for disaster. :grimacing:
From here - or at least the first ten days of life or so, I’ll water with a spray bottle. Just a squirt or two daily at the soil, if any at all.
Because…each seedline has a traslucent disposable juice cup over it. That, I spray frequently. :wink:

Happy to help ya out along the way brotha!
I’m also sure there’s some auto gurus around here that could add something for ya.
@Going2fast @Carty @LoveDaAutos @SubzeroIceKold @420noob
Comes to mind. :slightly_smiling_face:

Much love!

Got the adjustable ballast now and it’s dropped down to a constant 28c I’m hoping this will be okay definitely going to be looking into led

Yes there female pal and no I’ve literally just gone and brought some soil from the garden centre and using bottled spring water at the moment with no nutrients as was unsure what to go for I’m in 1m by 1m by 2m tall tent using a omega adjustable ballast running at 250w so the temps sitting at 28c and humidity at 50% is there anything I need to change with this and did it the same way wet paper towel in zip lock bag although I did put in a small pot first to transplant but seen that it can cause stress so already transferred them don’t think I had any issues

Temps seem pretty good and humidity is in the range. You can go higher humidity early on before flowering, you should be off to the races in no time.

It’s a little small but healthy. That could be genetics but she is healthy. I’m a pro at stunting autos lol. I have 2 at 11 days I’ll share a pic.

@carty and @raintoday also have lots experience with autos
