My Pops, who turns 90 in a few months, had his dress uniform on last year. He was airlifted into Berlin back in the 50s.

Greenies i take it?Do you still have your old pickle suit?I had to wear these green Fatigues when i was OPFOR for awhile at Ft Polk that were just as tight as the old pickle suit i think thats what they called the old long sleeve green fatigue suit that had to be tucked in at all times but that was well before my time.My basic training Class was one of the last to be issued regular Jump boots as they moved from BDUs to ACUs which i wore for the rest of my career Active Duty in the Army and hated with those goddamn awful Suede boots that alway get dings for monday motorpool inspections kicking tires and getting black marks.I had to have a show and tell pair i took and put on 5 min So first Sgt doesnt Chew me up and scuff me up for a couple hours getting smoked .I hurt just thinking about it .Lets just say a 5 gallon jerry can full of water carried over my head and me have a real special relationship

Yes, I was issued in 79. The newer stuff came out a bit after my discharge.

I was in Weisbaden when the Iran hostages were released. Stationed at Camp Lindsey across the street awaiting barrack space at Weisbaden Army Base. We had our motor pool there.

When i was there there was this dive shithole bar down the road from the first gate a ways called Club paradise down the road from billygoat hill (What a name for a titty bar huh) It had a spray painted VW bug on a telephone pole 30 ft up in the Air.Cockroaches would pull up a chair and have a drink with you at the bar.Almost as filthy as the Kat West pretty sure they tried to steal a kidney from me at that place

Leesville always had a certain… aura to it. I always bugged out to Lake Charles.

It was payday and I was on my way to the bank, but some mad men in a helicopter robbed the place and flew off. Traffic was backed up and I think it was like 3 more days before I got paid. You don’t run into stuff like that every day.

Ok folks, I have all the Canadian donations packed up. I made up enough Blue Kush and Blue Moon Rocks packs so everyone will get one or the other. I will get these off to @Bobgrows this week so she can start sending stuff out. :v:

Received a package. But ya’ll could make it easy on me by just writing who they are from in the pack. I’m not good at puzzles or guessing games… lol
So if one was sent without any of your info… I’m assuming this is for the vets.

Hey folks, the Canadians seeds are in the hands of the post office. I have tracking for them @Bobgrows . You will notice I did not include the address labels. As I was heading to the post office I stopped and took them out of the box. I have put them in a card and will drop them in the mail for you tomorrow. Just dawned on me that it’s kind of foolish to send a bunch of seeds across the border with the names and addresses of all the recipients. Sorry about that but they are still coming Bobbi. Just separately in their own card. :v:
