I come from a family with a pretty rich military and war history
My great grandfather survived Paschendale , barely. He lost a leg and and an arm but he made it thru. All my great uncles served as did my grandfathers and were in the thick of it. I recently asked my mom to put together what she could of our family;s military history before she passes on… She is a geneologist and does family history and searches for people. Going way back on my dad;s side I come from warrior blood of the Cree Nation, descending from Chief Little Hunter who fought the crown in the great rebellions.
Much respect to all of you who served. I see some of you where serving when i was still in diapers. Good to have you ol boys with us still.

Recently here in the US , seems many people don’t value of being a US citizen - all ways protesting about something being right or wrong - this comes with freedom !!! I bought this shirt from a friend of mine from Washington that used to come up and shoot the M14 rifles (variants)with us. He is a retired nuclear submariner.
On the back it has a large POW MIA insignia.
I wear this shirt quite a bit when i’m feeling in the mood to express myself hehehe
The zippo lighter I was given has that on the back of it and my initials and unit patch on the front.

When i got home from Iraq and hit dirt near FT Polk they bussed us back from Alexandria i think?Anyway the bus was going as fast as it could escorted by a sherrif in the rear and a full patriot guard escort on point.The Westboro Church was trying to get at us so they pretty much had us surrounded by Patriot guard and Cops in the back.The Guard lined up In alexandria and formed a Shield wall around us as they threw full water bottles of piss and Screamed Obscenities as .There was a scuffle and those assholes got bent into a pretzle and the cops pretty much paitently waited till the stomping was over and took them out of there.I guess things dont change much
Nothing comes for free in this world, someone always pays the freight somewhere along the line. Folks would do well the think about that from time to time.
Thank you to all my veteran tribe US Army 06-11 here. I am not overly active in forums I am a college student yet again and a busy full time crit care human, but always got my tribes backs glad to contribute to any of you got a lot of preservation and my own crosses on stand by.

Just trying to keep the wife from having me sleeping outside in one lol. I’ve taken over both of our kids rooms since they’re grown and moved out as well as a spare bathroom. One more tent just might be the straw that breaks this camels back.
