done! oh glorious freedom! took about 6hrs solid trimming. i took a few breaks and snapped some pics to share.

some scissor hash

at the 4hrs mark, i asked my business partner to help out, alas - no thumbs, but she still likes to steal and carry around the fan leaves, crazy dog.

i started using silica at 20ppm this round. while trimming it felt like cutting cabbage, with each snip you heard CRUNCH very beefy trim leaves. nugs are more dense this time around, probably due to the cooler temps in the tent.

i cant wait til next week when i can weigh everything up and figure my efficiency

working in some mosquito bits into the top 2-3 inches. my high tech bonzi rake.

i got 8 plants stuffed in there this time around, last round was 6, trying to fill up that trellis.

The numbers are in, and honestly they werent as bad as i had thought.

made some hashes, got bud jarred, repotted the seedlings to one gallon pots, firing up the burn barrel to get rid of these stems n shit.

this hobby sure consumes alot of my free time, good thing i dont have much of a social life lol.

whoa, looks like the clones are moving to solo cups and coco tomorrow. all the clones took and none ever yellowed, really liking this aero cloner.

clones i took in rockwool always looked pretty beat up by the time they rooted…

They look great. Must have been some healthy donors

i was going to put off transplanting the clones until tomorrow, but i have nothing to do, so much rain outside… so i moved them over today.

moved into 1 gallon pots.

the mail man brought me a present.

Man I need to learn coco. Seems much easier than rdwc and dwc. While I’d never stop growing deep water it would be nice to kick back and relax a little. Be good for summers so I don’t need to run chillers

dwc is how i got my feet wet. ended up copying hygrohybrid’s set up. 20 gallon rez per plant, still have the chiller plumbed in from the room next door with the pondmaster AP100.

you dont have the explosive growth in coco that you get in rdwc. what takes me 6 plants in coco i could fill the same canopy with 2 plants in rdwc.

but i can cram 8 in the space now, no pumps, chillers or airstones.

thats makes room on the circuit for more light.

today is the start of week 4. went though and thinned out the canopy and clean up the bottom stuff.
feeding at 900ppm/1.8ec, every 7 days right now.

the canopy was overgrown, pulled off a 5 gal buck of leaves.

before cleanup

after cleanup, and ill probably go back in tonight when lights come on and go through it again. I went in last night to feed and when I ran my hands through the fan leaves I noticed moisture on the leaves. hopefully the clean up will help with air circulation.

so far so good.

start of week 5!

on my last cycle i was starting to get discolored leaved from underfeeding. no signs of that going on yet.
currently feeding 35% higher than last cycle.

Pardon me for possibly a moronic question @Doulovebeef, but what are you calling a “cycle”
Thanks bro! :cowboy_hat_face:

Hey @oleskool830, maybe I’m using the wrong word…

For me a cycle is 9 weeks. Cycle = rotation?

I haven’t had any coffee yet, so if I’m not making sense let me know

I didn’t know if you meant by “cycle” a full term grow or weekly flowering cycle. What made me curious was when you said you increased nutes by 35% in the next “cycle” I too am still high from today’s wake and bake so I may not make sense either. Lol!
