Afghaniganza! NOW Black Afghani, Cherry Queen, Black Leb and Blue Hemp Leb

That big old mold magnet on top is making the whole plant tilt. Hoping for a dry Autumn as well lol.

Ok, @Lefthandseeds you didn’t tell me I’d be doing a horizontal grow with these :flushed::rofl::rofl: And there’s a r-shaped bamboo stake attached to it too!

Repositioned the bamboo stake and stuck a forked tree branch on the leaning side to offer support. Still not enough though… 5-6 days countdown until harvest. Freaking BEAST.

LowDak #1 Smoke Report (the big one)

Initial thoughts… Was kind of surprised to see the individual buds on this one were long and skinny. The plant was a total monster. Lower branches as thick as a pop can. More hybrid-like flowers that are very leafy.

Taste: Very mild and nuetral, hard to describe. What’s there is a slight, sweet plastic-like taste. Not gross like it might sound.

Smell: When wet and trimming the placed REEKED of new carpet. Have never smelled herb that has had an adhesive/brand new carpet smell to it before. Dried the smell is similar but not nearly as strong.

High/Stone: Indica sided but not heavy like I’d describe some. It’s actually pretty clear headed for me and doesn’t feel overly sedating or lazy.

Potency: 6/10

Duration: 2-3 hours

Medical? Yes. Though the effects aren’t super stoney for me, it adequately relieves physical pain.

Negatives? I guess the taste and smell but that’s all subjective. If you’re after something that will get you stoned to the bone then not this.

This was a really fun one to grow. Did not expect to see this thing stack the way it did and turn into a total beast. Total weight: 251 grams. Somewhere between a half to two thirds of the flower was thrown out because of mold. If it weren’t for the bud rot this plant would have been pushing 2lbs. So no, on mold resistant for this one. The high is very functional for an indica yet you also get physical pain relief. I’ve really been enjoying this one as daytime pain relief cause it numbs the pain while allowing me to remain functional.

Thanks for the detailed review! That sounds about how I’d describe it. I didn’t find it especially stoney either. But it one that my friend on chemo liked for the pain relief and to help with appetite.

Nice haul and thanks for sharing! :+1:

Edit: I should mention that there are two phenos. I think that one was probably the lowland afghan pheno.
