It kind of looks like some of the pollen sacks are open… may already have pollenated lol
Thanks for the positive thoughts. I hope so.
How far along is the plant? Theres some brown hairs on those nugs
I switched it to 12/12 on 12/24/2019 so just one day over 5 weeks.
Take a look around the brown hairs for little bulby looking things
Hard to tell. My first attempt didnt work out well… this last attempt looks like I’ll have seeds for years. I’ve got a couple pics of the pollenation in my thread
Ok cool. What’s the link to your thread?
Pluck one off that is either just opening or at least mostly yellow and about to pop and gently roll it between your fingers, if you get a smear of yellow pollen grains it should be all good.
Silver nitrate in solution will degrade reasonably quickly… powder is the best way to go imho.
Yeah should be no issues there…So the next thing then is, does the plant have enough new pistil development to be viable? I have had the balls turn up too late to self and get mature seeds… . but I keep the pollen anyway so all is not lost… most times I have at least a few cuts of anything super important so it’s not the end of the world, just a fck around time wise…
My personal conclusion is that injecting is not the way to go. The spraying seems to be a more reliable way to reverse the plant.
Now I need suggestions here.
What should I do with this plant.
Most of it has had either silver nitrate or STS injected into it. I will keep it around long enough to collect some pollen and let any (IF any) seeds come to maturation. And obviously save the seeds and pollen to the best of my abilities.
From what I have read you don’t want to smoke any buds from the plant because of the STS being absorbed into the plant. I would like to use alcohol to extract the THC from it but I don’t feel that is a good idea either.
Next option would be the wood stove. Burn the whole plant to dispose of it.
Any suggestions? Here she is.
Just compost/burn it. Not worth the health risks using it for extracts.
I agree. I was pretty sure that was going to be the consensus. I just wanted to hear someone else say it.
It seems like such a shame to destroy it. But that’s what HAS to happen.
If you only sprayed one branch and protected the other part of the plant from overspray is the whole plant still contaminated?
The above question is hypothetical. I am aware that this particular plant is fully contaminated.
Thanks!
I would rather advise against it and be wrong than the other way around. I’ve thrown away some beautiful smelling plants before.
Probably going to catch heat for this… but playing the devils advocate.
And the link to the page it came from.

I’m not going to recommend using the plant… but… we probably inhale much worse on a daily basis. I smoke, work in a car shop, 3 years on an oil rig and 2 spraying herbicides.
Pick your poison lol
**edit . And on more than a few occasions I’ve soldered with silver solder
Such an interesting topic. Neat to see people doing the most like that. Pick your poison is right man I’ve done any number of things worse I’m sure.
NO no no… it’s NOT like that !
Maybe now you understand why I did need 14 years to create FEMALE seed instead of Feminized seed.
I can tell you how that picture with the XXY factors does look.
But for that, I do first have to write it in Word to become the possibility to make it clear.
Here on the forum, I don’t see the way to enlarge the Y in the marge where it belongs.
I’ll be back.
SpeesCees
hey how will @SpeesCees1 possible to answer a question, what is your opinion about male plants that show pistils are only hermaphrodites and should be killed?
