Anti-Insomnia Strains

Hey @Zombie420, I noticed that about half of the 10 new threads that you’ve created in the past day or 2 are getting closed and merged into other existing topics.

The @moderators close and merge topics (threads) to help keep the sight “clean” and to make it easier for people to find information. With that in mind, I think you’d find the search feature to be very helpful (it’s the magnifying glass :mag: in the upper right on your screen). Use it to find threads (topics) that are related to what you’re seeking, then you can use it again to search within the thread to find exactly what you want.

And, of course, you can always send a message to any member (like me!) to see if they can point you in the right direction if you can’t find what you seek.

The best I’ve found has been the Orange Grove I mentioned at the beginning of the thread. Plants in the Kush family are especially helpful. Make sure to let those trichomes amber up by letting your plants flower a little longer than normal. Also try edibles instead of smoking, it tends to be more effective for sleep.

Legend OG has something in it that reliably knocks me out. I have been suffering from chronic insomnia for over 20 years. I’ve had professional help for many of those years.

The problem with edibles is that it rockets your tolerance. Legend OG is able to knock you out, keep you asleep, and wake rested without the tolerance build up.

I’ve also been using Harle Tsu 1:1 RSO a few hours before bed. A grain of Rso behind the gums on nights that I absolutely need sleep.

I’ve been told that legend OG is another rename of OG Kush , aka Ghost. If you have the legend cut, you have OG Kush/ghost.

I have Legend OG, OG Kush, and Ghost OG in my garden and I can assure you that they are all very different plants. I’ve read the stories of each and although I can see how they could be S1’s, they are not the same. I’m not saying that the story didn’t happen that way, but at least in SOCAL, the cuts that are being sold at dispensaries and local hold outs, are in fact selling all very different plants. In fact, the Ghost, I use to wake up, the OG the relax in the day and the Legend to knock out. I know my legend isn’t the Crinkle cut, but for our purposes, it gets you sleep.

Does anyone have any hibernate seeds from greenpoint seeds left? Finally grew some from the seed run and I love it - but it turns out I gave all my seeds away lol. Oops

hello @JustSumTomatoes my wife is having terrible trouble with sleep for the last year or so the best we have come up with so far is late cut space monkey from Bodhi made in to edibles but she still seems to be easily disturbed then cant get back off does your orange grove have a lasting all-night effect for you any info or advice would be massively appreciated we’re in a bit of a pickle here and its driving her mad

I think a lot of the problem with not being able to sleep on cannabis is cause by overdosing.
I have seen it countless times. A guy will take a few hits and pass out in 30-mins to an hour.
But the guy that smoked half a joint is wide awake and can’t sleep for a couple of night. Personally I would try cutting the dosage back and see if that helps.
I weigh what I roll so I can keep up with my intake. If I put a gram in a joint and only smoke half of it, I know my intake was half a gram. I know how much it takes to put me where I want to be. I try not to be exceed that amount.
I also found this technique to be a good way to keep my tolerance in check.
Subsequently, I lowered my tolerance by intaking a little less each session. Believe it or not, I still get the same results. This technique allows me to get totally blitz for a few hours by only taking a hit or 2. It also helps to have a potent strain. Hopefully this helps someone.

Edibles high in CBD and CBN have helped me big time being able to get higher quality sleep.

Agreed. I have an aged hash which is heavily oxidized and is very soporific.
