I’ll take .4 grams of qwet and put it into a cake mix and make cupcakes.
The feedback I get is crazy. Either the user sleeps for 2 days or are awake for 2 days.
Here is my calculations. Assuming that the qwet is 80% thc. So .4g will give me 320 mg of thc.
320 mg of thc divided by 15 cupcakes, gives me 21.3 mg of thc per cupcakes. Each one weighs 2 ounces, so there is 2 10mg doses per cupcake.
In my opinion this is a great happy medium between lower tolerance and upper tolerance users.
I know people who only eats half, there are those who will gobble down one or two, then there are those who will “nibble” on one all day at work.
I want see the person that eats 2 of these cakes for a few days because he/she has been sleeping the entire time. They can’t even go to work. So eating any at work isn’t recommended.
I have two chronic sleep disorders and can be up for days if unmedicated. I can’t promise anything will work, but when I was gifted this strain I was told if this one didn’t help they wouldn’t be sure what would. They weren’t lying, in smoke form the Orange Grove is just another indica, in edibles it hits harder then anything I’ve put into them yet. Straight to bed for me, nothing else can do that.

I grew out a 30:1 cbd rich strain that I use to blend my smoke to get where I need it.
Just guessing, I would say a 1:1 ratio is my sweet spot for getting some sleep.
I also agree with @Blu-Tri . Over doing it is counterproductive. Instead of settling the mind, I get scattered thoughts, which keep me up. Of course that is just me. And keeping my tolerance in check is a priority of mine for many good reasons.

Totally get that. For me, overdoing it isn’t so much the issue as just having what works for me… Which happens to be high THC varieties. Insomnia is caused by so many different things and can be it’s own separate issue making it difficult to treat. Best to figure out what works best for you and stick with it.

Since most people that have sleep inducing strains aren’t giving them up, they are in very high demand now. Almost daily I see someone searching for a strain that will knock them out.
When everyone was looking for the high yielding sativa strains, the sedative indy strains almost became part of the past. But there are still a few around if you can pry them out the breeder’s hand. Good luck.
a lot comes down to harvest times, the longer you can leave a strain, the more cbn the plant produces and thats the sleep inducing part of the plant

A pheno I found from the RKS f2s from Todd McCormick and Authentic Genetics via Heime Cheeba was like eating a bunch of edibles. No matter what I did I had to sleep within 45 minutes of smoking no matter what time of day.

I found the same. I even cut back to smoking on Sundays and also found, a good night’s sleep the night before increases the high. But we take pot cookies before bed which is another story.
