Much love to anyone suffering.

Check your Vitamin D levels people, get good sleep hygiene, workout, and tell yourself “Good Job,” when you get out of the bed in the morning and brush your teeth, even though all you wanted to do was go back to dreamland where it’s safe.

I know these are all things you have heard and learned before, and sometimes that’s not enough when you’re on the descent part of the emotional Rollercoaster or you been low for a couple of days, but you’re a warrior if you’ve made it this far, and everyday you keep living is another day you can say “F you,” to the monster that resides in that dark side of your soul.

Brother the day is inevitable …
The ways r unfortunate
They would want you to keep pushing !
Not fall flat …though it never seems the same.nor will be…physically they r not there but you bet your ass years down the road they will still be with you …
Every memory will be clear as day …those r what you created with them throughout these years …that’s the biggest gift they have given you besides life itself!

Depression is a constant companion. Now that the days are getting longer and spring is approaching it isn’t as bad, but it’s always there.

Hope everyone gets to feeling better.

Maybe mix in some Vitamin D this time of year it can get low which seems to coincide with the blues.

Tried something a little different today, seemed to help, but also not so much, I’m keeping on keeping on and I’m glad to hear your doing the same. I e come to the point where I need to figure out what these last 35 years have truly taught me.

But for real it’s been hitting me hard as hell, figured it’s best to let it out finally

That’s horrible and I’m sorry to hear that. Hope many days of peace are ahead of you. I have only lost my father so far and that was hard. I wish you well and hope it all sorts itself out.

I’ll get my hands on some and give it a go. Can’t hurt to try something I haven’t before.

Having an indoor garden helps me a lot… that’s why I always garden year round… having my citrus trees, pineapple plants and pot plants indoors during the holidays really helps me big time… I will never take antidepressants because of the side effects (suicidal tendencies)…
if man-made drugs helps other people so be it but it’s not for me…also talking to other people and just having a good time helps during the holidays for me…take care and stay well people.

At home I have 5 tents running :broccoli: , every accessible window is covered in plants, and the majority of the exterior of our property is a green-space slowly hiding the house residing on it.

While the winters can be brutal where I am, there is often bright Sun to accompany the -C temperature so that’s a bonus for the brain even though it’s low in the right spectrum that i supplement with my S.A.D. Lamp(s) and gardening lights.

When I get into a really dark place due to the winter depression (or anything major now-a-days really) I find what works for me is mixing up a batch of soil with my BARE HANDS, even if I’m not planting soon. :ok_hand:

I used to do this all the time as a kid, teen and then adult outside when in a bi-polar adhd/ocd fuelled funk… dig my hands into the dirt and try to calm down.

Turns out there’s science backing this and I was (again) running on gut instinct.

Getting your hands dirty in the garden can increase your serotonin levels – contact with soil and a specific soil bacteria, Mycobacterium vaccae, triggers the release of serotonin in our brain according to research.

Take care of yourselves everyone!

Here’s one more thing…to the people that are on social media and who get depressed easily…stay off social media, way too many people are addicted to social media.

I’ve said this a lot throughout my lifetime, we all need humour and laughter in this fucked up world we all live in…it’s true people.

One of our many lost connections with the natural world. We’re meant to part of the macrobiome not sterile and isolated from it
