I was a member/grower back in the 90’s ( same name) I learned so much from this site, now I’m back up and running again, 4x4 tent 600 watt hps. Just popped some barney’s fem.

I was a member till 07. Got busted n quit growing. Still using my same old username so maybe someone will recognize it. Would be fun to touch base with some old friends.
Overgrow taught me how to grow. I’m glad to be back and can maybe help others learn this craft.

Is my original username still available? I was in 9th grade when I signed up. I remember BOG running Sweet Tooth #5 and Bogglegum at the same time. I remember Shabhang and some others but I was arrested and came back later and saw the sight was running again. I’ve been back for a while now.
Just wondering if there’s an original list somewhere with the names? Yall have a great day. I was just reminiscing.

Yeah buddy. I just remember his big goofy house shoes in the pics. I was using my scanner to get a few plants sexed. Lol. I didn’t have any cameras and was afraid of my father’s wrath. (I actually took a branch or two from my grow site and walked it home for sexing). He would beat me up if he caught me smoked up.
I’m glad it’s legal where I’m at. My Father is awesome now and I have most of the strains I wanted. Heaven’s Stairway was so dope to me. I remember wanting to grow strai s like Early Girl and Big Bud. I never got any White Wodow or Rhino but I got my Cali-O. Lol.
I just feels good to be here. Be safe gents and any ladies. Glad to see everyone here. Overgrow is Church.

Damn im sorry to hear that bro. My stepdad told me years before i ever tried to grow a weed plant that the #1 rule is to not tell anybody even your mom.
I kinda let that rule slip by and told a few too many fam members but had to pull my shirt tail and cease any and all convos with them in hopes that they will think i stopped or gave up. Also posting online makes me super paranoid but im just doing it anyway.

Moments before the knock im trimming bud on the coffee table. They smelled it but left. Returned with the goon squad in the morning. 33 plants in the basement… Damn. They found no guns,baggies,scales, or money. All personal grow but that didn’t matter. Pain in the ass and a total waste of tax dollars.

I broke up with a girl, we where dating for a few years also living together. A few months went bye and I was dating somebody else. Well the ex did a drive bye and saw a car in the driveway late at night, and decided she was going to make a scene. Started yelling about marijuana plants and going to call the police. I live d in a neighborhood houses close by. Luckily I was able to talk her down.

It has been a long time but I too joined OG. I started with newsgroups back in the late 90’s then read about the website. I joined up but was too scared to post, it seemed like the only true way to prove that you grew was to post a pic and I was WAY to scared to do that. Im not entirely sure if I ever posted anything besides questions about where and how to get seeds. I frequented OG until all of sudden it exploded in users, it went from like a few hundred of us to like a few thousand way too fast so I got paranoid and deleted my account. I do not recall my username from way back then. It was not DocGreenStone. I will always be greatful to OG for the key things I learned there including banzai growing, cloning, using carbon to filter aromas, etc. I believe my real roots lay in OG.
I was getting seeds from Heavens Stairway, I think it was called, on the DarkWeb. It was the least sketchy option IMHO because ordering from the catalogues made me way too nervous.
After OG I went to CannabisWorld I think it was called and started buying seeds there too. Later on I started buying seeds at a site I think was called Breed Bay or Breeder Bay.
I am still (somewhat) friends with some of the guys I bought seeds from and traded clones with. Ghost, Katsu, few other old hands.
I dont grow anymore, the game has changed and I feel lucky to have gotten in and come out clean without doing any time, knock-on-wood.
Im surprised to see OG going again. I figured I would join up again, it seems fit, who knows I may grow again someday.
