Yes there is that. The HLG is just overall a solid sexy looking unit. I’m looking at bars for my bigger tent but this board will stay in my small cabinet for a long time.

Whenever I replace my bar lights I have now, I’ll get the ones from HLG. Those look great. For now I just need some lights for veg. I have the 100W one already, so I figure three more of those would give me plenty to veg and keep moms in a 5’x5’. Then I can get a 3’x3’ and toss that 3000k light in there for more flower space.

I can tell you for sure that the 100 can flower out a 2x2 and they claim to veg a 3x3 which I haven’t done but I believe them.

Have some Ol’ Betsy, Electric Boogaloo/Dogshit, and Green Crack crossed to the Appy F2 coming from trades for next run now too. Should be fun to see quite a bit of Appy stuff. From @PatioMat and @DesertHeartGardens

I’ll throw this up in here. Would love some Dynasty gear or some A5/Thai stuff from Doc D. Seeing Doc dropping more of that stuff is going to make me want to buy some, but hard to do when the prices were what they were not long ago. Haha I don’t need full packs. Just at least three regs per strain.

I think I’ve traded for all of the beans that I’m interested in and anyone is willing to part with, so I’m getting the lineup ready for next run. I’ll be vegging until sexed, tossing the males, taking cuts, flowering out cuts, and so on to hopefully find a keeper or two. It’s looking like this:
-Appy F3 (x4)
-Green Crack x Appy F2 (x5)
-Ol’ Betsy x Appy F2 (x5)
-Electric Boogaloo/Dogshit x Appy F2 (x5)
-Lime Berry Mega (x4)
-Moose & Lobsta V2 (x3)
-Caramel Candy Kush (x3)
-Temple x A5/Mirakel (x3)
-GSC Forum Cut x A5/Mirakel (x3)
-Purple Unicorn x A5/Mirakel (x3)

This current run is getting stripped down sometime in the next week. Humidity is staying in the 70’s, so they’ll get thinned out pretty well. Probably be picking sacs in a few weeks. Haha Still have another trade for some Dynasty freebies, but that member has to get home on Sunday to see what all they have. So, probably be a few more added to that list. If you have some Appy stuff, Dynasty gear, or A5/Mirakel stuff you’d like to see run with this stuff, donate it or trade it to me and I’ll add it to the list.

Nice lineup! Happy to see you’re finding what you’re after! Cool beans!:grinning:
Not sure if you’re interested in dehums or not? The Midea cube has been pretty good to me for the past couple grows. Currently pulling over 2 gallons a day outta my lung room! :muscle:t3:

I have the biggest normal type dehumidifier running in there. Might look into the commercial ones, but kind of hoping a mini split will dry it out in there. If there’s a way that doesn’t look super sketchy to vent directly outside that would be cool, but I’m already venting out of the room.

So, I’m thinking of stripping them down tonight when the lights come on, but started wondering how much that will actually lower rh? Just curious if it actually lowers rh much or just helps air move around more freely?

I would say the additional air movement helps reduce the rh.
In theory that sounds right. Less plant material = lower rh from less transpiration. I’m not 100% sure.

Yeah, that makes sense in my head, but I just don’t remember it dropping much when I’ve stripped clones or vegging plants. Hoping I’m wrong though and after I strip them down the rh drops 10%. Haha

I take a little at a time not to really stress it out after I went overboard and had a plant throw some balls.
For my rh issue last run it was a matter of more air movement plus a better exhaust fan.

Stripped them down well. Haha Definitely helps with air moving around the tent and plants.

I defoliate twice in flower and both these times the rh does drop depending on the number of plants, but 10% seems a lot. Certainly helps bring in the light and manage airflow.
Problem is they’d continue to re-leaf up until week 6 and then those buds get dense. If the rh is above 55% then it’s gonna be troublesome.
Hope this helps.

Yeah, I wasn’t expecting 10%. Haha I’ve run plenty of harvests with 65% rh and had no rot, but over that and it gets dangerous. I can always raise the temp up, but at the cost of flower quality. Seems tough to keep rh down with lights off in a tent. First time in a tent, so still trying to figure it out.

It’s a pain in the ass down here, I run one dehu at lights on about 55%. Lights off that dehu stays on and another turns on at 45%. I wish I could find an inkbird that would control the first dehu % depending on schedule. I would still need the 2 dehus but when the 45% goes to pump the water out the other kicks on a little too late, better than never.

Lights off does seem like it needs two dehumidifiers or a commercial one. Jeez. I guess I’ll start looking. Probably need to figure a way to vent the tent outside too. I’m thinking I’ll vent it into the bathroom next to that room and just leave the exhaust on in there. I guess eventually just exhaust it out of the roof.

the dehus are in the lung room, and the tents exhaust dumps into the lung room as well. i wish i had the luxury of dumping the exhaust outside!!! that would save so much on electricity!

Might just cut a hole in the wall from that bedroom to the bathroom and then hook the ducting up to the exhaust vent in there. Need an 8” hole saw bit though, so won’t be today.

8” hole saws are expensive. Might I suggest a drywall knife! Also I made this thingy to vent next to my A/C. Can you vent where your portable A/C vents? Maybe unsightly?
