Please do! I’m keen to see how it shakes out.
I forgot about the WSC I made as well! I’ve been using about 1ml/litre 2 ti es a week for a few weeks. Seems to work well? No calcium problems?
Oh WSC . Where did I get wco? I think that’s what I wrote on the bottle. Never mind it’s WCA. Confusing haha water soluble calcium tho it’s just WCA.
I think it’s “water soluble calcium”? I could be wrong?
When I google it, I see both? Either way, egg shells and vinegar
As @HeadyBearAdventures said, JLF won’t actively bubble after the first few days. It becomes a semi anaerobic process. I bet if you stir it you will see some bubbles though @Kasper0909.
I use my LABs all over my property @Garden-Buddy. Along with everything else lol.
I haven’t put any chem in my yard for 3 seasons now. All of @CrunchBerries suggestions are top notch as well.
Here’s my KNF/JADAM grass…
I hate having grass but nothing I can do about that so might as well do it as right as I can.
@Loggershands I call it a semi anaerobic process. I don’t seal it air tight so it does get a bit of air exchange.
No LAB added but IMO is.
WCA - water soluble calcium (eggshells)
WCP - water soluble calcium phosphate (bone)
Your grass looks super lush!
That’s a thorough write up!
Thanks, @BeagleZ
I’ve also been seeing a bunch of indigenous farmers and growers on IG are also adopting KNF and swear it is the best natural farming there is… so I figured there must be something to it.
This was just the crash course intro I needed to get me really interested.
I’ll practice with some of this over the winter, and see how it improves my outdoor garden next year! thanks again
Thanks @Kasper0909, gotta keep the neighbors happy at least since they all think I’m crazy spraying home made stuff on it all the time.
Glad you found us @firehead, keep us updated on your progress/pop in with any questions. Collectively we usually come up with somewhat coherent info
Alright I feel successful somehow with this liquid fertilizer. @BeagleZ Now if I can just be strong and use some.
The green in the middle are still green cannabis leaves from like a month ago.
Yeah buddy! Looking good. Some nice fungal growth there too!
It’s ALIVE!!! Looks good my man!
Start small like 1oz per gallon, read the plants and work your up from there.
Really great thread! I bookmarked this for reference.
I am currently drenching about 1/2 acre of my farm with JMS. So far I have made 4 applications and hope to do 6 more before spring.
Started fish about 6 months ago and EC is off the scale of my tester undiluted. Have also made JLF from green grass from my property, my blueberries, neighbors corn and local weeds.
2024 is going to be a learning experience. Thank you for starting this thread, let the fun continue!!
Welcome to the thread @Gumbert!
Glad you find it useful. I’m still trying to find time to do the rest of the updates, goals👍
Please keep us updated on your progress!
Thanks @BeagleZ for the welcome! Been working to try to get my greenhouse ready for this 5 day hard freeze we are about to have here. So much to do!
Good Luck!! A spritz of OHN can help keep things from getting frosty.
I went deep down the KNF rabbit hole for about 5 years, I couldn’t help but feel like my plants still weren’t getting everything they needed… definitely grew some nice gardens throughout the years on the protocol but I think most people overlook the soil prep aspect in favor of putting their energy towards the ferments (esp. outdoor and veggies). I’ve definitely been susceptible to that train of thought.
Now I take a very balanced approach using techniques from all facets of the organic scene, BAS raw amendments, DEM teas, well timed JMS solution, a couple KNF ferments, and some organic solubles in addition to cover crops, nutrient dense designer mulches, and home composting. I find having a lot of tools available helps me solve problems and a diverse yet moderate approach seems to keep things happier with less effort… for example in the past I never would have purchased GS 16-0-0 soy amino but you just can’t deny how effective and easy that stuff is with the right timing. So, I spend a bit more $$$ now but I’m confident my plant’s needs are more fully met with more of a “buffet” of foods and some more tailored approaches in my back pocket.

Good post, thanks for sharing your info.
I just started the change over from full hydro (synthetic) to full organic by feeding living soil and allowing my plants to get everything they need from its local microbial community.
In the past few days I managed to get my hands on a large amount of earth worm castings from a large worm farm. I have now made two small batches of aerobic worm tea. I used worm castings, azomite powder and a small amount of malaises. I have not looked at it under the microscope yet so it will be interesting to see what is there.
I applied 1/2 strength to some young brassicas and peas and they sure seem to like it. Change of color in 24 hours.
More to come.

Does anyone make plant ferments from the clippings from your cannabis plants? Leaves, branches, extra clones, plants that get chopped, etc?
I usually just put that stuff into the compost pile but was wondering if I could make a ferment with it? And if so, would it be worth the time?
I don’t have very much experience making ferments (yet).
