Some development in the past week (photo from yesterday). I decided to start pollinating today, time to get things rolling if I’m going to pull this off.
I do the samthing man, every chance i get i peek at my plants like a concerned father. It certainly does make them seem slow. You’d laugh if you knew how much i do it. Plants look awesome and stout,
Those look great! Nice work on them.
Looking good. Well done man.
12 days later… still chugging along. It’s been getting quite cold at night the last week or so (went down to about 30F last night). I think it’s fair to say the plants have not been loving that. I knew it was coming so I did mitigate by throwing up some insulation panels and I slid a 2 x 4 of R10 board under the tent, topped with a seedling heat mat. It’s not perfect by any means, but it does kick on when the sensor in one bag detects that the medium-temp has gotten down to 59F (and shuts off when it gets to 68F). I should probably adjust that up a little, but so far they seem to be getting by.
I got nervous this morning when I noticed some lighter green slight protrusions on two plants, but I’m fairly well satisfied those are immature seeds developing, not the dreaded 'nanas. I gently touched one just now and it was hard like a seed.
Males are still just barely alive. They didn’t get the special heating mat or insulation board treatment and I’ve been underwatering them. No signs of problems, though they’d probably like to be put out of their misery.
At this point I’m kinda nervous about how many seeds these 4 plants will produce. I wish I’d used larger grow bags… fingers crossed there will be more than enough. Tempted to hit them with pollen one more time because there are a few white pistils popping out the top of the uppermost buds. Other than that I it’s fair to say they were well pollinated.
They were less developed when I first saw them, but you can kinda see in this shot why I was low-key freaking out when I first saw lighter green things poking out.
I approve this message!
@yardgrazer you wouldn’t believe how many seeds your gonna full off these plants! You will have plenty im sure.
I concur
I was only worried when I first noticed them, and they weren’t nearly so developed, but they were emerging light green things that clashed with the color of the flower so I was worried for second or two. Gently touching one revealed what it was.
Six weeks since three of these girls showed sex. Going to take it as long as I can, there’ll be a few cold nights coming up but should be fine, made it through last night okay. Heat mat controller showed 19.5C or so when I went in just now (67F soil temp).
Late to the party but I’m happy to be here. Looking good

Bad news, when I went into the tent this morning I noticed mold on the top cola of the plant at back left. I removed the cola, took all the seeds out, did a quick hydrogen peroxide dunk and put them out to dry. Some immature seeds, some good looking ones.
Nice plants, are they in 1 gal bags?
They’re 3 gallon bags.
I took a look at the plants earlier today, I don’t see any other problem spots. I suspect it was a combination of two days of high humidity (it’s been really dry recently) and that I hadn’t cleaned up after applying some stored pollen. Mostly the latter, some of the former.
Thats great news!! So exited for the G13HP male crosses to be preserved. Such a legendary male. I loved the Mango Hashplant where Bodhi used it. One of the best strains I ever grew.
8 weeks since three of the four showed sex. Hoping to wrap this up fairly soon, I suspect cold night time temps are messing with 'em (soil temp was 58F this morning, low air temp outside of 22F last night). There are still four plants in there but the one I had to remove the main cola from is hiding behind the plant on the left.
I decided to see if I could get any of the suspect looking seeds from that removed cola to pop. I have them bagged up and will keep them separate, but good to know if they’re good should I run short.
