I did a few weeks ago. I’m not sure what to think about this. I’m not a Berner or cookies fan. Bodhi I feel will only help Berners reputation at the expense of his own. I’m sure he is just chasing the money atm, something we have all done at one time in our lives. Berner is more a marketer and he just bought the best mind in breeding out there. Hopefully they go a different direction than improving cookies

@mmspupil I guess we’re going to see, aren’t we? You don’t know there isn’t one any more than I know there is, you just want it to be okay. But it would be naive to think that a company with a valuation over a billion dollars would bring someone on staff in a leadership position without using some standard contract terms for any R&D position. It could take a lot of forms, but it would be wildly unusual for any head of R&D to be left unbound by a contract that says they can’t use the work for hire they’ve produced under it, which can also often bind up the options for continued personal work in that field. Head of R&D for a major corporation isn’t just a “day job”. Man isn’t going to be slinging buds at the local dispensary.

What bodhi is doing is going to be amazing.
I spoke with him this morning and I think he wouldn’t mind if I shared a few points with you all:
-This partnership does not effect his existing seed companies. Bodhi Seeds and his side projects Niereka, Supernatural Selections, Medicine Mountain will not be effected, he is continuing to run his seed game how he always has, with no changes, etc.
-He plans on launching F1 hybrids into their menu!
-He is not stuck in any contract or position, he can terminate it at any time, and he has amazing visions in mind to help the plant in its corporate setting before it’s too late.
Again, his existing companies are unaffected. Bodhi will be Bodhi. So relax, have faith and confidence. This is the best man for the job. He knows a lot more than all of us

He does know a lot more than us. But, to me, this goes against everything he has stood for over the years. Berner is all about the money. Just my opinion.

I personally like cookie genes idgaf what anyone says Fire is fire. I own many ogs too and yes cookies aren’t as potent but that’s perfect for me since I’m super sensitive to thc. I smoked a cbd strain that had like Like 5 thc and I still got high for like 1 hr lol. The best tasting weed I smoked was cookies and the high lasted for hours but do didn’t wreck me like chems, og, and hazes I’ve tried. You like what you like and don’t like what you don’t like it is what it is.
Also it’s almost always about the money. Maybe bodhi can bring some stability to these herm genes.

I agree, I personally dislike the smell and flavor that it puts in to most of its hybrids too. Especially when they remind me of cardboard or wet bread. However, the Bodhi x Cookies project is actually about Not using the cookies genetics, its about spreading much more unique genetics via the cookies Company and their massive network.

I was gonna say it reminds of the same shit. Wet sweetened cardboard. It’s not the worst flavor profile, but it gets old fast. Then it just becomes bland.

So much stuff out there on Bodhi but it’s a lot of legend… wish he had a blog, website, youtube channel or something. Not even a wikipedia page or anything. I want to know so much about the guy behind the strains. I have listened to 3 interviews and he has a lot of great info to share about life. If anyone has links to interviews with him that would be awesome, please share. Doesn’t seem like he is active on any of the boards anymore either. Where is the Bodhi ultimate fan page so I can nerd out??
Just harvested some Cheech Wizard and totally blown away. Can’t wait to try it after a cure.

Nope on the Cookies x G13HP offerings, those pre-dated the defunct partnership. AFAIK the only things ever released were the two lines offered with Berner’s CD drop ($$$$$$$$$): Raspberry Orgasm x Lavender Lemonade and Zkittles x Lavender Lemonade.
