I always seen them market the auctions as for rare and out of production genetics you cannot get elsewhere. Dont recall anything about fund raising on the IG posts or the website. A Rip MR. BOG text on the auction implying rareness but thats it. Anything else would have to be assumed unless hes stated so somewhere, whether in general or these specific auctions.

If you scroll past the login part on their home page they mention that part of the money goes to help breeders and their families 
in times of need

I’m thinking… it wouldn’t really make sense to do an auction featuring kc brains. Bog is a crowd favorite and I’d even guess(hope) that a 100$ bog pack that sells for 400 would mean a 300 donation…
He might have put half the packs for auction for those you wanted to donate anyway and the other half listed for a fixed price to give a chance to people not willing to be part of a bidding war to get something they want.

I dont either. And your guess might be true, the timing just makes it weird for me. Makes sense to optimize and maximize bids, just a bit “slick” for my taste.
If they were put in stock at normal price before the auctions Id say they were being given a choice. Putting a “retired” strain back in stock after the auctions without telling them it would be available at retail price days or hours later isnt about who wanted to anything. Thats the little too slick part for me. Mightve made more for a good cause this way, but not how I wouldve done it is all I guess. Other than that doesnt affect me. I got a pack of lifestar on last restock.
Ooh I assumed they were all put at the same time, if the auctioned ones went before the listed packs I can see why your spider senses would tingle hah.
But since the auctions last 3 days(?) And listed packs were listed relatively shortly after, I wouldn’t think regular folks would have time to pull a Bruce Wayne’s “2 MILLIONS” at auction.
But yeah, close call eh.

I see that BOG made this thread…back in the day BOG gifted me his Bogglegum strain because he wanted me to grow it in my SWC/TRON Phototrons…it had a great grape flavor and great buzz…I ended up making my own cross with Bogglegum and I will be sexing soon…I cant wait to grow my own Bogglegum cross…

I made those Bogglegum cross over 17+ years ago…I’d have to look at my notes…I’m just now growing it out…that picture was taken about an hour ago…
