I have an aloe plant in the back yard. I was worried about outside contamination though.
The Colombian Gold is really dominant in the Gold Dawg also. It could be that is just what happens but too small of a sample size.

Yeah same here @CocoaCoir , my outdoor aloe seems to always have some kind of hitchhikers or squatters, although they do keep growing and spreading. I pretty much only use it for skin stuff, sunburns & hand-soaks with a pair of gloves
I grow 2 different kinds in a container inside, strickly to have for starting seed.
I hope the Lumbo Lips turns out as nice!
You made it sound so nice in your description!
That’s super smart, having an isolated dedicated aloe
We probably talked about this 1,500 pages ago, LOL the “Tomfoolery” is lengthy and we often revisit stuff. I frickin love it here lots to read/learn/fall back on
boy are you right, I learned so much from just reading and spungeing up all that shared knowledge
Yes Aloe and Cannabis are true companion plants.
Used here for all sorts of ailments, skin care, chicas use it when washing there Hair…not to mention medicinal. Most gardens here have there Aloe plants.
Two companions in the sun today.
Cobra quiver 6 weeks
Great germ method and the hummingbirds are a companion to the aloe…there fav nectar when in flower.

That’s a beautiful sight @Panamajock ! They look great together! This is my little set up. Not much but it’s been going for a few yrs and suits my needs. Orchard flower stalk creeping in for a photo bomb.
Beautiful…nice set up.
My eyes were opened when I retired here five years ago…the succulents and orchids etc are incredible.
I’m actually in the Parque National.next to the road to the Volcano Baru.and cactus abounds on the hiking tracks …getting popular with tourists now…and it’s great to see the Community getting involved.
Come visit some day, I’m sure you would love the flora in the area.
There’s a dedicated Australian guy who came here and fell in love with the area…and started an Orchid Finca…many years later…what a place to visit…especially if you’re stoned.
I could go on …retirement can be hard …but getting hobbies like cultivating plants .
Have a nice day
Hey. I’m about to do some giveaways over on the Monty Python themed oddly named seed batch thread, if anyone wants to join in. About 10-15 mins from now. Gonna play “fill in the next line”, should be fun.
Come and sign up for a chance to win the newest oddly named seed batch, SPAM.
@Budderton what is you media mix made up of? I have always struggled with keeping succulents alive and thriving for any duration.
Hey @Fortman420 . I had a bunch of orchard specific medium left over(i think it’s mostly Cyprus bark) and mixed it with some peat based 3 part that i grow herb in as well as a cup of beach sand. Colored rocks i found in Mrs Budders arts and crafts supplies so i used them as ground cover. Crystals also pilfered from Mrs Budders collection(she has many).
Dammit. The Don is turning out pretty much they way i wanted it to but i was unable to find a suitable male to keep it pure. Selected for terpene profile, then effects, with yield not even considered.
Thank you thank you thank you I don’t know what to run next. I have the best problems, and so appreciate you taking all the hard work and sending it my way. I am truly honored and very excited for future prospects. All the best.
Its my pleasure @BasementGardens ! Thats for letting me know they landed safely, happy hunting!!
The Don(White ApricotSherbetf3), cruising into wk 7 of flower time, is a fast, terpy washer. All the phenos smell very similar which makes sense as these where selected by the nose through the first 2 filials.
Damn @Budderton that is a frost monster, very nice job on her. Cant wait to see how she finishes…
I missed the up pot by about 2 wks on the Labradors & Lumbo Lips but its on this afternoons agenda. Till then, still struggling along in a 1 gallon is this Labrador.
