Right on @trytogoodbud , thats what i was going for. A nice cross section of old school OG Kush types to choose keepers from. I’m happy to hear they foot the bill.

Yeah, thats a nice cross. I just sampled a really nice one and I’ve got beans started to select for F3.

And now for the ugly.
Nice looking lower, right?

Guess again.

Hey @Panamajock , you know that Labrador I said looked SE Asian? Well it’s sure acting like one! Full blown clusters, hidden on the inside and under the female flowers, facing the main stalk, none facing out. Som-mav-a-biche.
The othe Labradors are fine and clear, but I’ll report if that changes. I didn’t see any inter-sex traits in the parent stock but that doesn’t mean things can’t recombined into a herm(captian obvious here), especially with semi-feral heirloom inputs… Doesn’t look like the pollen was that fertile as i don’t see many frizzelled pistils in the neighborhood but I’m scrapping the pollinations i did earlier on the equatorials.
The pistils are just starting to show on the next round of planned pollinations and i haven’t been able to find any sign of early polllen interaction. I hosed the offender and surroundings and removed it carefully so i will carry on with my Sour plans but they won’t be given out until i can go through them, make sure they are untainted, and put another round of selecting on them.

Back to the good.

Definitely appears to have some Thai influence, or… Maybe it’s Scottish? Kilt’s have those on their undersides too :face_with_monocle::flushed::scream::rofl:

I think I know the one you mean…there is one that has a big node space , twice the size of the others but with little side growth ( will keep my eye on it

I think some pre flowers are coming through. When the Corinto and some others finish in the greenhouse…they will need to stay in veg…which is ok with me.

Thanks

Right on @Bobgrows, its mypleasure! Happy to see them make it! Thanks for letting me know.

The wwnn and Dirty Hungarian Phrasebook are the ones that I’m excited to see as they have some interesting outs but if you want to check out what the “Breaths” from Thug Pug are all about I’d go with Argument Clinic. Its the most inbred and will make frosty, chunky Cookies flower with strong terpene profiles. If you haven’t tried Meat Breath/Sherb Breath and want to, it’s the one that will produce those types. Happy hunting!

Lumbo Lips, starting to recover after a recent pot stack. Looking more Lumbo then Chem as it begins to form colas.

Fat, leathery leafs on the Lemon Gooey cut are getting a good LED sunburn this round.

Looking amazing as always @Budderton - the Lemon Gooey leaves are a WOW colour - thanks for sharing

Two nice Cobra Quiver males.

I’m pondering what to do with them…I may quarantine one …but I got a lot going on as you know. I got a good few females in flower. Risky!

Unless you have something that could use a shot of inbred Chem(what couldn’t?) I’d say bin the males.
But if you’re careful, there are strategies to make a bit of seed while maintaining a mostly sensi crop.
Not sure if you seen the way i bag up males to contain and collect pollen simultaneously.

I have used my shower room before as a love shack…I usually just let them do their own thing.

I might give it a try …seems basically straight forward.

Ok I will ponder more

The hope springs eternal re-veg spot is getting full.

Wanna keep your starts from being leggy, get em close to the light and have a fan on them. I never use a dome or cover when starting seed even though my rh is low (30-40%) in the nursery. Coincidentally I can’t remember the last time i had a start damp off.

I pop a lot of beans and get one of these every round practicality. Wholled blah blah. Here’s the Tri-leaf (shout out Ricky Seeds!) for this round. Cotyledons are even in 3s. I’ve never seen one stay tri-leafed throughout flowering though. This one is a Wink Wink Nudge Nudge.

This is a Labrador. Suffering from being in a small container for too long(as per usual) but starting to recover after a pot stack. 1 gallon with the bottom cut out onto a 3 gallon. This one is turning out tighter with denser colas.

In contrast, the Lumbo Lips are way more open with looser colas but i anticipate a stack. These will be in the back of the flower room for i bit.
