how do i know when to harvest the seeds??
When the are brown. Check around the plant and see if any are ready. For sure those aren’t ready
You are going to need at least 4-6 weeks from pollination as a starting point.
Depending on how well you grow plants… under ideal conditions you shoot for 5 weeks when pods show signs of seeds forming… based of those pics… 12 days
Also… where is that bud on the plant?
DITTO on above comments, at least 14 days BEFORE harvesting seeds, IMO. SS/BW…mister
When in doubt, wait two weeks. It’s the rules.
indoor cultivation… buds suffered a little too much phosphorus and potassium… pollinated within 3 weeks of flowering
I didn’t really understand the context… but I liked it
Yep. Go another 1.5 weeks. Might not get full seed development thought… gonlonger depending on what your goal is.
pollinated in the third week of flowering…too late for that?
I would suggest a slow drought watering method to get those beans to start drying…
Patience is good.
LITFA = Leave it the fuck alone
And what week are you at now? They look almost done? 8 weeks at least I’d guess? Beans should be ready or almost ready id think…
Agreed. Won’t hurt to let em go.
6 weeks of flowering and 3 to 4 weeks of pollination
perfect… very cool… life motto haha
I’m with the crowd then. Couple more weeks to be safe.
would you have a tip on how to identify approximately the right time to harvest the seeds? just looking? any visible physical feature
