I have Chem D. That looks like it. Yeah it has a body odor garlic funk. I’m flowering it here again in a month and will post some pics. It has the exact variegation.
I have a killer Sunshine 4 cut that is testing in the 29% range…not that I believe that shit. But it does have some killer bag appeal. Not something you would want to start the day with. Funny thing is that it has variegation same as the Chem D plant above.

I’ve grown CSI’s 91 s1s… I talked to Nspecta and I believe he said he got his cut from a friend in Oakland who got it from SkunkVA directly… I grew out a pack, and all looked more or less identical, and all looked like 91, only not as frosty as the original. Smell was on point, being kind of gas and stinky herbally thing… I grew Lucky Dog’s Double Krush at the same time, and it looked and smelled the exact same, only the Double Krush plants were much frostier than the 91S1s… Lucky Dog is Skunk VA, and Double Krush is Chem91bx2 x SFVOGbx2 x Chem 91.
For what it’s worth, I’ve had lots of D and D crosses, and it seems to be the most garlicy, almost pizza shop kind of smell, 91 seems to have the more herbal gas smell, hard to explain, but it isn’t really rank… and 4 seems to have the most janitorial “chemical” smell… I’ve not had any of the others… I’ve heard a lot of people speculate that everything other than 91 may actually have been the result of a cross to 91, but if so nobody who would know is saying so… if that makes sense…

I should be apologizing, I think I misspoke a little… I said that 91 had a strange “herbal gas” smell, but that is misleading… what it is, is the “rubber/tire” smell… I don’t know why my mind went to “herbal”… I was drinking a certain tea at the time that has a similar taste, so that’s probably where my head was, but rubber tire is a much better description than herbal gas. There is a more straight gasoline smell during flower, but after it gets chopped and dries that gas smell fades and goes much more to a tire store smell. It also has a slight woodsy, foresty kind of smell in the back end too. Sorry for the bad info.

Yeah for sure. Lemon is heavy on the backend. The BO is not that heavy…more of the smell you get from cooked onions from a restaurant fajita. It’s there but not overwhelming.

Cool - that is pretty well bang on what I found with it.
From all the descriptions of rank, bad breath, awful smelling… I didn’t think it was that offensive. Likely just internet hyperbole.
It was very nice smoke though!

Yeah. I got more onions and garlic from it.
When I explain body odor to people I use two examples. Male body odor or Female. While I do not like an unbathed women. There is something to say about the smell of a clean woman after a workout. A light smell but not full nasty. This mixed with some light perfumey smells. Citrus, mango…maybe even some floral notes. This is good.
Then there is male body odor. I have not found anything that smells like a stinky dude while growing. And I hope I never do. Makes my belly turn. Yuck.

Chem lines are up there on some of my favorite. I’ve been on a search for this 91 chem for over 11 years lol. It was light and fluffy; resembled a bead pheno sativa and the high was crystal clear mman. I consistently had gotten flowers 2008/2009. Grower disappeared on me and started raving EDC all that. To each their own but he coulda at least given me a cut before he abandoned her.
Lots of different stories and different people who have cuts etc… Will the REAL CHEM DAWG please stand up! lol jk many of the crosses and S1’s are good.
Chem 91 descriptions a friend sent to me a bit ago when i was looking:
Pheno # 1 (70 %) : looks like a 50/50 mix of Chem 91 & a Pre-Invasion Afghan. Requires a 30 to 40 day veg, and 63 to 70 days of flowering for best yields. Cal-mag fed lightly from veg, thru the 4 th week of flowering. Feed moderate to heavy in both veg / flowering. Forms large main cola, with smaller golf ball sized buds on side branches. Heavy odor during flowering, predominantly Chemical Smells / Diesel Fuel with hints of Fruit / Citrus with Sweet & Sour undertones. Intense up high, followed a short time later by heavy body relaxation. Occasional smokers may puke from the rush of THC.
Pheno # 2 (30 %): looks more Pre-Invasion Afghan dominant, but veg’s faster (than a typical Afghan), she also stretches more once put into flowering. Great potency, like Pheno # 1. Requires a 30 to 40 day veg, 58 to 63 days of flowering for best yields. So, she’s a week faster than Pheno # 1. Same feeding requirements. Best topped to form several large colas (improves yield). Heavy odor during flowering, predominantly Fruity odors / Diesel Fuel / Citrus (sweet oranges & tangy lemons) / with sharp undertones that make your nose tingle / burn. Very nice up high that builds over time, with more body effect earlier in the ride
