When do we get beans from the Co op runs . I’ve been a member here for a while. I’ve signed up for allot of runs. Never seen a bean. Just curious.

I too am curious & can’t remember who has the ball now, but MOTR suffered a natural catastrophe from a tree vs. house incident, in mid-Feb., in the frozen north.
As far as receiving things, @Hugh_Glass - did you pony up for stamps? 
That’s the only likely hiccup I can think of.

last one was last year sometime, think fall 2019. Next one should be coming up but we’re a package behind since the april one got delayed from seedruns, and then the tree hitting MOTR’s house and whatnot so not sure if they’ll be combined or what. Have to wait for her to come back and let us know what’s up. She should finally have all the seeds though, last package was sent out towards of end of july or sometime in august if i remember correctly

I dropped a few OH from Mongo and looks like I have 3 males. I do have a fem C99 and maybe two starting. They’ve been slow to get rolling. Maybe I’ll try and keep the pollen from all 3 or a special one and hit the C99 for a few seeds.

Those two might be a good match in my opinion. They are both bxd lines or inbred to a point there be a good mix of phenos . I think c99 has proven a good breeding tool by now I love my Apollo stuff pretty much the same thing. I would look for the more sativa of the three OH males you have or really better yet use all three males.

I understand you get a wider variety of phenos doing an open pollination type thing. Why would you not try to select the best male and female if crossing say, oh and toa? Not a big enough gene pool to select from just a couple packs of seeds? So… You make a bunch of cross seeds to find a better mother and father?

I have bodhi’s Good Medicine (Harlequin high CBD x Appalachia) in veg now for a coop preservation seed run later this fall/winter. I’ll start a thread for it soon. The seeds from it won’t be guaranteed high CBD since only one of the parents of the cross is high CBD, but some will for sure be high CBD or 1:1 or 1:2 ratios.

I wonder if CBDxTHC crosses ever produce 0% CBD offspring? …anyone know?

Apparently, some CBD F1 crosses can be 0% cbd and almost all THC in some phenotypes and 100% CBD and almost no THC. What’s super interesting is that I’ve heard that the high/experience is approximately the same between the 0% THC and 99% THC. I have heard of both of these things happening with Canna-Tsu, for example (Phenos with equal but inverse cannabanoid profiles and have similar highs). Blew my mind.

As to F1 crosses, and even specifically Bodhi’s Good Medicine, I grew them years ago and ended up with 2 females of which I was able to actually get lab tested. One was all THC, less than 20% and the other was close to half CBD half THC and around 22-23%. These were the only plants i’ve ever had the pleasure of having tested. I just started trying CBD this year and it has been helpful for getting good sleep and de-stressing in general.

Wow, how did that smoke?
I’ve come to the conclusion that for me, the best ratio is pretty close to 50/50, maybe 60% thc. It’s such a deep, existential relaxation that 100% THC seems to lack.

I honestly can’t remember what the plant was like flavor wise sadly but I do recall enjoying how it left me feeling. Peaceful, at ease and relaxed for sure. I was sadly looking for / hoping for a plant with much less THC at the time so never kept it around after the first run and being tested.
