I wish I knew this… there are 3 lots listed on his website and you can actually buy a mixed pack with all lots.
This is what the write up for the mix lot packs says:
The Pinks N Purps Combo Pack includes 3 packs of 11 seeds…for a near open pollination, utilizing roughly 100 purple, lavender, pink, & green females and 11 dark purple males
These babies are doing great and looking really cool. The Pinks N Purps colours are really starting to show. Very unique (to me at least). You can see the seed pods forming nicely.
I also added the Wedding Cake x Cake Fighter plants in last week as well and had to get crafty with some pots and novels to even out the canopy. Nicely filled tent!
Some reallllly nice smells coming out now! I’m getting grape candy from all, more of a grape bubble gum from the green pheno which was a huge surprise and then the other two remind me of when you open a can of frozen grape juice! Some delicious stuff.
Thanks man! Yep, this is from mixed lot #3 - Green Females x Purple Males
Thank you good sir! I’m hoping to have some extras to give out as well.
Got a few males from my Wedding Cake x Cake Fighter seeds and I really like the structure of one of them so I’m going to collect some pollen from him to put away for a little bit. Might be a fun project for the future. He’s been isolated in my little cabinet now.
These plants are starting their senescence process… at least that’s that I keep telling myself. With only about 2 weeks or so left to go I thought maybe they were just starting their fade but it seems a bit extreme. The tent has been sitting pretty consistently around 29-30C so I think it might just be a little too hot but the other plants seem fine.
I gave him the old @DougDawson treatment and harvested his pollen. Thanks for the tips brother!
I enclosed myself in my shower and whacked him against a large steel bowl then sieved the pollen through my trim bin with a sheet of parchment paper underneath. Once finished I hosed the shower and everything down with water. Worked a treat I’ll let the pollen sit covered in the takeout food container with the silica packs for a few days then vacuum seal it and pop it in the freezer until I’m ready for it.
Got a few particles of soil in the pollen… hopefully that’s not too much of an issue. I may bake some flour and mix it in just to be extra careful. I don’t have direct plans for this pollen but it might be fun to play with if the females are worth a damn.
The Pinks N Purps should be ready to hang in 2-3 weeks. Getting close!
That’s awesome brother. If I may add, put a meter in to gauge the humidity and stir the pollen regularly or keep it spread out and you should be golden. Congrats man, pollen collection is awesome and opens up so many doors. Great job.
Well I am so excited for @NorthNorthNugs u to see that you’re seed shucking, pollen collecting and it’s just a great job that you’ve done both growing and sharing the show with the OG community and I hope i can get my first seed run turn out as well as yours and that theirs some magic in those beans!!! Happy Growing The Doc…I can wait to attempt my project now !
