@Cannavore he hasn’t been around since January, but @arb had claimed to be the one who originated the Xmas Bud at one point, I sort of believe him based on a number of things he said in his time here to me and others:

Those were called Christmas bud cuz they were ready at that time of year. Occasionally get some pine but not something that is consistent. The original seeds came from a bale out of port Charlotte harbor in the late seventies that hailed out of Jamaica. Did really well outdoors in west central Florida which is why I kept it going. I would just set a small patch aside and leave the males for seed stock for the following season. I gave them to ndnguy and he passed them out like a legend.
