Thanks! They all smell pretty similar with some minor variations. I’d say Triple Sunshine is the strongest smelling if I was pressed. The TK clone may be a little bit louder than the other TK stuff but it’s pretty close. Nothing would strike me as the strongest smelling that I’ve grown, but they are all decent to high odor. 5150 #3 smells the least out of everything.
It’s very hard for me to describe smells but here were my notes of spending some time in there trying to answer your question. You’ll notice a lot of overlap here but when I describe 2 of them as adhesive it’s not necessarily the same smell, just that it smells like a strong adhesive or solvent.

I’m really interested in trying both the 5150 #1 and the TK S1 #2. Very happy with what I’m seeing from the TK offerings by CSI. Would recommend popping them if you have them. If you’re in a place where you can’t get a TK clone (or don’t want to risk bringing one in) then it also seems like a great alternative.

Smokable but not enjoyable… It’s like tasting a filet mignon and going back to rump roast haha. Once you sample that 60 day cure you never go back man. Plus I grow way more than I need and never run out so just don’t need to consume immediately.

Thanks for such detailed answer, appreciate it. I did grow several TK s1’s and TK hybrids, namely L.Headband x TK, Irene x TK, Pure Kush x TK and few others. In most cases, I dont find them to be super strong smelling plants which was the reason for my question. I also have the TK clone here and love this cut.
My favorite from CSi for now is the Irene x TK, the nose is like 50% TK and 50% Irene, in the middle, plus funky body odor and little apple maybe. But the high! Very strong, enjoyable, no tolerance build up and surprisingly energetic. I sampled larger dose with my lady the other day and we couldnt sleep on it. I wish OG would fix the problem with jpg files so I can post pics without converting everything…

Here you go, what you see here is the most of the plant, she is grafted on another root stock…and still you cannot smell anything else in the box full of OGs, Chems and HP13s1’s - those reek quite bad too though.
The smell of Bombthreat x HP13 is still evolving and Im pretty excited what the final form gonna be like, the porcini smell is a little weaker but still strong.

Maybe im just impatient but the longer ive been growing the less ill cure. Currently i usually hang dry for 2-4 weeks with sampling beginning after the first week. Its always terpy once i finish dry. I just never really noticed a big enough difference in quality to hold off that long and currently im grooving on buds i harvested around Christmas. The one thing ill admit is some strains are a bit harsh the first month after chopping but never had issues with harshness after 30 days of dry/cure

I’d agree with that. I think it all depends on the reviewer’s experience growing high odor plants. TK smells good and has a fairly strong aroma but it’s not what I’d call a 10/10 on intensity. Smells good enough for me either way.
For me the TK has a nice focus boosting euphoric high to it. Definitely not a couch lock “indica”. The Irene kush mom I grew didn’t come across as that special to me, but does sound like it could be great in a cross. Some people seem to like her a lot more than TK so to me just goes to show we all react to this stuff differently.

Im with you about the TK high, is the reason I like this cut. It has old school vibes, very euphoric, laughing weed, strong but feel good and long lasting effect. The smell has a lot of layers, I get kind of nail polish remover from it, some pine, skunk, lime, sweetness. Good stuff. I grew out some Irene S1 btw and I did not enjoy those as much as TK. The Irene x TK is definitely improvement for me, personally.
