CSI Humboldt Seeds

Environment plays an incredible role as well. Having pest issues and unwanted stress on the plants Play an incredible role also. There are so many variables that can change the final outcome. I feel like genetics are what the potential could be if properly dialed in and cared for. I’ve grown Barney Farms genetics and crushed it. But I also have been growing in the same conditions Pretty consistently usually just adjusting feed, water, temperature, humidity and sometimes airflow or low stress training. Just my two cents what do I know I’m a pothead.

Yeah I feel like you’re doing genetics a disservice if you think all you need to do is add water.

You see it so often where new growers on Reddit they have great and expensive equipment and the plants are trash.

Im running some hb/la kush hybrids, it could def been my fault too, im not discarding that. However, most strains are fine…

Interesting, last go I did Suge’r daddy and the kush 4 x t-1000 and had no issues . Manual timers seemed to solve my issues with the lights being more consistent. I hope that sorts itself out for you.

Suge’r daddy was an absolute favorite of my buddies.

I think alot of the csi humboldt stuff is preservation and theres no guarantees of anything. Theres so much variation possible from an open pollination run. You’re taking a chance like a scratch lottery ticket. You may not find anything good in hundreds of plants or you may get all keepers out of 5 seeds, or one out of 29. Maybe some people don’t know that or don’t understand it.maybe seed sellers should point this out to customers. Idk. If it’s something he’s “bred “ to be a strain then its a different story i guess. There should be some noticeable levels of uniformity. Does csi breed that way? I don’t even know. Anyway… its ALWAYS a gamble of sorts poppin seeds.

IMO, T-1000 is just a better Urkle…
T-1000 isn’t as good as the TK it was crossed to, to make it.
It is way better than Urkle tho, which is straight mids.
Fight me :joy:

I just had an epiphany…must be the rice krispie…lol… but I think we order seeds from CSI … And the money is to get something you asked for …he’s basically a free seed bank that takes donations… That’s the only place I payed 120 bucks and got 400 back in seeds . I actually get withdrawal from not ordering…y’all sure he’s not illuminati

I think I need one of your krispies @Jamescoldflame bc i sorta followed that but mostly I can tell it’s a super high thought :joy:

Hey I said t-1000 crosses I enjoyed . I said nothing about t-1000 itself. But you’re entitled to your opinion even if I disagree from the few packs I’ve grown. My experience has been within 1-3 seeds I’ve grown of a pack , I say hey this is a nice plant that I’m happy with. That’s a pretty good ratio in the end.

No doubt. Finding something your happy with out a pack, especially only 1-3 seeds, is a great thing :+1:

I am pretty happy with my purchases from CSI. These Hawaiian Lites F2 went beyond my expectations and very much looking forward to the Snow Whites I have growing now. (Grow log soon to come). All three of these ladies are full of seeds with one making F3s and the other two are whole new cultivars from what I can gather.

Also, no hermie issues.

Could be absolutely luck too though to be fair. I don’t want to set up some expectations for anyone that will disappoint them.

I’ve only ran a few of the S1’s from CSI (mendo purps and bubba kush) and I think the fact that nspecta runs 200 plant lots to find keepers pretty much sums up S1’s… apparently you gotta go through a lot of them to find gems. I think environment does make a difference as well.

To be fair i didn’t think the 1 single bubba s1 I ran was all that great due to slow veg and low yield but after curing, the tops I’ve been smoking are actually really good…

All 3 s1’s I’ve ran from him had bananas too but I’ve been told that running from clone can help fix that

Id agree - a much tastier stonier urkle. TK adds a nice touch to the flavor and growth structure. Different than TK for sure, but t1000 is super nice.

Tough to find a keeper of any S1 in 3 seeds. Even the s1 crosses id say a full pack is a minimum

Irene Kush fallen soldier

Found some variegation on my 5150 x chem91. That appeared during flower. Seems to be progressing as pics taken a day apart. Havent seen variegation appearing during flower before but i seen others find it in chemdawg.

Also found some on my irene kush fallen soldier, which might be a clue to its unknown parental
