Dendro's Outdoor Grow 2022

You say your grow skills ‘didn’t help’, but they didn’t harm either. Those look really nice. Did they turn purple from cold temps?

Haha, Ive never heard that one…will follow the trail though…I just think of that Saturday Night live skit with Christopher Walkin? ‘More Cowbell!’! (Which is a parent strain along with Texas Butter) this was a strain I bought just for the name, I mean it sounded good in description but I made an impulse buy for sure :grinning: Every once in awhile they actually pay off. Its an awesome cross, kind of glad they are f1 as I love the variety, kind of like buying multiple packs. Thank you brother Webe, hope your day is growing well

Well thank you too man! I had wanted to keep her in the tent but I miss planned, the other plants were autos and she just out grew them, had to come up with something, so took her outside, hid her in a dark room at night, I dont think she liked the cold weather much but yes those colors blew me away!

Hope all is well my friend

What size are those containers?

Whats up man…The BC was in a 5gal plastic bucket, holes drilled in bottom and then those fabric pots are 7 gals, I think!

As much as the legal limits suck, it sure beats the hell out of outright prohibition. There was a time (not so long ago) when even one SEEDLING guaranteed you would go to prison. Two years from now, it’ll be legal federally and fewer jurisdictions will care about having a few plants too many. Of course you want to avoid legal entanglements, but those will become more sporadic and less severe as time goes on.
For what it’s worth, I’m always happy to see someone grow cannabis with impunity (you know, the way it should be).

Both of the plants in the fabric pots were autos, Forum Stomper x Samsqautch OG(Mephisto freebie)

And Strawberry Nuggets

I wouldnt recommend using fabric pots outdoors but it can be done, especially with automatic watering, I was moving these in and out as it was very early in the spring.

Hope all is well my friend!

I’ve been obsessing over root space recently. Any grows I’ve actually done (very few over the years) have always been small. Large containers and large plants are more difficult to conceal. If I could grow in the open, I’d probably never use anything smaller than 5 gallons, preferably ten or more.
Once legalization (or at least decrim) hits here, I intend to grow the largest plant(s) I can.

Oh yeah, I know brother. Times have sure changed but we need to keep working and keep Overgrowing! I try to flood them, always caring free flower and seed with me everywhere I go and if we all do that, no one can ever stop us :fist:

I hear ya, Ive tried alot of different ways now. I simply like to mix it up. Do whatever works at the time. Those big trees I had this summer where just too much. Ill try again but containers are good for mobility but if you go too big, you find yourself stuck halfway through the year. If Im gonna go big, in the ground they go! Right now its just fast and simple time. Easy breezy :ok_hand:

Cannabis legalization has hit critical mass; anything anyone does from this point on is only going to expedite that process. Even Jess Sessions knows that.
This dark time will end, and we will Overgrow the world.

Mobility is definitely important. Being able to move them into a heated greenhouse (or at least cover them up) could allow folks to grow even the longest-flowering varieties in more temperate zones like ours.
Sorry if it sounds like I’m just talking a good game here. The legal situation requires that I only work with theories right now. All I can do at the moment is learn what I can right now. My wife doesn’t partake, but she’s offered to document everything. She’s documented the experiments we’ve been doing with basil and other (legal) plants.
Hopefully I’ll be posting harvest reports by this time next year…

Your right, we will overcome these times soon, and it is happening fast! Full legalization is just around the corner. Even when things became ‘legal’ here, the ptsd of past situations still had its effect, shit, Im still on probation with real time over me, It gets easier though and I have always felt we see eye to eye my brother. I understand that sometimes we just cant go into it much, especially online, I often say a few things too many, I just try and keep my limit tight and dont take too many risks. Ive really appreciated your conversation this year man and am praying for yall down there but I know the law ain’t stopping anyone from enjoying the herb, at least I hope not.
I cant wait to see your grows brother, cannabis and all!

And in the end? We all have to always grow or do anything really, the way that works best for our individual needs, there is simply no ‘best’ way to do anything as I think you agree. Every grow, something new is learned or rethought. Everytime. Really am looking forward to seeing what your up to, if you have any pictures of the basil project, I would love to see, but I get that too, I cant even take new photos right now, it sucks! I keep pulling out my phone when I see something cool and its says something like ‘storage almost full’ Im like, well if it is just almost, then I should have a few more shots? Anyways…hope you and all the fam is having a safe weekend

I’ll send pics of next year’s purple holy basil project. In fact, I was just outside gathering seeds from it. We just got our first frost a couple of days ago. All the squashes, peppers and basil died, but it’s OK. Gardening isn’t over, or even paused at this point; it has just entered a different phase. This summer has also very much been a learning experience.
I may pop a few of those Northern Lights auto seeds I have and see how they handle frost. I figure if a seedling can take a freeze, an adult plant should also. Worst case scenario, I find out how much frost one can take.

Fast Healthy Grow Alert!
Was just down checking out the babys and to my surprise, I was able to take two photos before storage was full again…
Banana OG x Strawba the Hutt is still on the left, Fiona’s Chem Cake x Strawba the Hutt on the right…

Light schedule is now at 16/8, both of the FCC x STH are female, looks like two males on the Banana Og x STH but they are switching slower so still not 100% on them. If another week goes by and Im not seeing the beginning of full on flower, going to drop lights to 14/10 and get it over with because I really like were these plants are at right now at a few days over a month.
I promise this is it from me today! Have a great weekend and start to the holiday season Everyone!:v::orange_heart:
