Hey Dendro, hyperemesis is a true thing. It is rare, but I also know of a lady that, just does not do well at all with just a hit to 2. She just choose to not partake at all, and I get it, when ANYTHING becomes toxic or toxic like symptoms, give that shit the finger.
IF you do not want to give it the finger, maybe you can reduce the amount of THC, in say an ounce, hash it, (makes a great gift) remove as much THC as possible, then see once the matter dries out IF your body gives you the ok, or it’s still to much.
Got a strain that hermies, run a plant, and see if you still are affected. Maybe the plants rich in THCV from Jade Nectar, may offer you some path, IDK, just offering ideas.
I made a excellent concoction using a green dragon process, with vegetable glycerin/ a small portion of poly glycol, and some hermi plant matter, (more shake, than bud) to get a dog off of Phenol Barbital for his seizures. It worked a treat for the dog’s last 7 years of life, minus the PB.
Always do you my man! Fuck the world, and it’s opinions, nothing is perfect, and we all know, the hyperemesis is a real, it’s complicated, and yes maybe it does not effect everyone, and who knows the why of it.
I prefer to give some grace, over grief, when I do not understand a thing, that does or has not effected me…yet!
Get yourself healthy my friend!!
Dude, you smoked your first joint in Jacksonville, Arkansas in 1993?! That’s weird. I smoked my first joint down in Ouachita County, Arkansas in that same year. Small world…
Moderating you intake of THC is not blasphemy. It’s actually smart, especially in your case. You may just have a sensitivity to THC. Maybe explore other cannabinoids. We know more about cannabinoids than we ever have, and that knowledge increases every day. You’ll find a ratio that works for you.
Thanks guys. Alot to think about as always but I knew Id hear some great advice from yall, I look back over the past year and a half or so and think, how often has this been happening at some level? I remember the main episodes all too well but life got hazy ya know… not just all the weed or whatever because most of us know how tolerances work, but man, just the sheer confusion of it all. Stopping this, starting that, having surgerys, being told that Cannabis! was making me sick was not an easy pill to swallow, but I get it guys, its not Cannabis or Alcohol or Anything that I put in my body, its ME! Im the problem, or at least, I have a responsibility of how I deal with my problems and what I ingest. I tend to forget my part, even though I clame to admit my wrongs.
So yeah, it affected me in negative ways, as mentioned, overconsuming anything is dangerous, for me personally, I told myself that overconsuming cannabis is way better than over consuming alcohol or opiates, and I’ll be darned, its totally true! Cannabis has saved my life. Many times and in many ways, so no, this trainwreck is just getting started! Its definitely time for more cannabiniods, nice greasy flowers that are also chock full of other goodies, not just thc.The fuckin crazy part is, as I lower my intake and gain just alittle more control over my life, Im definitely feeling better. I thought it would be some huge battle or something but the battle has already been fought and won! Still got the war as they say.
Im finding more and more often that acceptance is all it really takes. And commitment and all the rest but damn, its not that bad! As Im feeling better, I swear my grow is healing as well. Other areas in life are getting easier without the burden I was carrying around. Over the past ten years or so, Ive cut out one substance after another, sometimes not all the way, it definitely depends on what were talking about but making real life changes and working on my relationships with others has opened doors that I definitely thought were closed. I really appreciate you all, especially my loyal homies… you guys always cheer me up! I really wish I had talked about this sooner but its not been easy to stay focused lately.
I just wish Everyone an Early Happy Hollidays and hope that whenever, wherever you are, know that you are truly and unquestionably loved!
If anyone and I mean anyone would like some free beans from this summers generous lady’s, send me your info in the dms and Ill get them to you within a few weeks. Trust me, Ive got some stong strains and hopefully some not sooo stong ones, at least for thc, that Im hoping turn out to be good forethoughts as the autos do seem to benefit in that department. Seriously, give me a shout and an idea of what youd like, Ive got way too many to test. Plus, I don’t really want to add being a horder to my long list of addictions. I also have a friend who would both appreciate and enjoy gifting some seed to be grown and no pressure, but hopefully someday shown. Between the two of us, Im positive we can find something to meet your fancy. So come on! Let’s help eachother out, one way or another it always comes back around anyway, so right now, however you see it, its your turn

I still need to drop those HJ seeds in the mail. But proactively, I’ve already acquired some coin flips - unfortunately I still need to find some o-rings. When you get those I’d be happy to take some seeds.
Trying to sort out what I’m going to do to my soil for next year, as always planning excessively and failing predictably Certainly learning along the way, that’s the only guarantee
This is probably the most responsible thing I’ll read all week.
Back at 'ya man!
Cool bird. One of my Christmas presents came in the mail yesterday. It is a pamphlet of the birds of the SE United States. My wife also ordered another pamphlet of the various trees here. That’s really cool, especially since I’ve been wanting to learn what tree species are here. There is so much to be learned about the wildlife here. Honestly, it’s a little embarrassing that I don’t know more than I do about the woods around here. My interest in botany is not just for cannabis, though that’s one of the things that got me interested in plants.
Funny story about botany here: A friend of mine and I were headed back to my house, when we saw someone pulled over on the side of the road, and had out of state plates (Virginia). We pulled over to talk to him, trying to not be intimidating. It turns out the dapper, articulate man who stopped there was a botanist who had taken an interest in a local aromatic species, one he said was becoming increasingly uncommon. What really surprised him was that my friend and I both understood the difference between family and genus. He was probably expecting a little hostility (this is a very rural and isolated area), but that was not at all the case.
Here’s an interesting little piece of trivia: Squash, cucumber and watermelon are not only native to the Americas, but all are also descended from gourds, all in the same family. Corn is also from the Americas, and is descended from a plant called “teosinte.” Wild teosinte still grows in some places.
Morality is the survival instinct, but beyond the individual level. That was in the book Starship Troopers. The movie deliberately missed the point of the book. The book portrayed the system of government (the movie mentioned that, the difference between a “citizen” and a “civilian”) in a positive light. The movie, being made by Paul Verhoven (who survived the Nazi occupation of Holland) presented the Federation in a much more negative light.
Happy Holidays Everyone!
Just waiting on this skinny guy(its very cold up where he is) to pop, any time now…
Have a good one yall!
Happy Holidays @Dendro
Your plants certainly have the holiday spirit. It’s been cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass woodchuck. Hope you’re doing OK.
All the best to ya Dendro!!
I’ve heard there is some excellent trout fishing in the Blue Ridge.
Looking great dude!!
Whats up OG Fam? Got some fresh photos and just want to say…
Happy New Year Everyone!
Bean working on getting a little outdoor head start this year, our compost was looking and smelling excellent yesterday and Ive got my plan of attack ready for whatever comes…
Really excited and looking forward to another outdoor grow, indoor just doesn’t cut it for us, but these lady’s here dont seem to mind. Especially since they were all very recently satisfied(12/23/22) by the Banana OG x Strawba the Hutt male. Beans are setting in fast and healthy.
I had tried a late application of sts on one of the Fiona’s Chem Cake x Strawba the Hutts but I now see a few reasons why sts, cs must be applied sooner. Should have listened to advice, oh well, Next time! For now, these f2 regs that are starting to fatten up will just have to do…
Damn, still spinning, lets see if these will post, Im always doing too much. Going to try and slow down this year and just let it be. Life is good!..
I pray everyone is going into the new year on a good note and again, thank you ALL for so much support, friendship, and guidance. We are one!
Tents looking fire bro
Looking great in the tent and outside! Nice compost, I need to start doing that. Putting the bucket under the sink for kitchen stuff and using it.
Good to see you again, glad you are well. Happy new year!
Hope everyone is chillin, Im kind of giddy right now, looks like the Banana OG x STH male did his thing all right, pollinated one female Banana OG x STH and two female Fiona’s Chem Cake x STH, all of the lowers on all three girls are visibly poppin out and its been like a week, always surprising how fast it all actually goes, its like, its not rocket science but is sure is some science happening right before your eyes!
Anyway, what Im really excited about these days and would love to hear some feedback on is the specific crosses between the one male (Banana OG x Strawba the Hutt) and the two (Fiona’s Chem Cake x Strawba the Hutt) females, Im guessing that the incoming f2 beans are technically going to be a new f1 on those two females and an official f2 gen on the one Banana OG x STH female, so one actual pair, but since all the original seeds came from the same mom(and yes, its very much possible that I dont actually know what is what but these four here are fairly obviously all correct, Im sure some of the original seeds are criss crossed but the genetic differences are very clear so its very easy to separate for now, imo) Anyway…Im going to predict that step siblings like this crossed will kind of do two important things, Im fairly certain that all of these seeds will have the normal f2 photo x auto variation…50% partial, 25% photo, 25% auto yet only one seed set will be a technical “f2”, the other thing going on with the Banana OG x STH crossed to Fiona’s Chem Cake x STH will be to further diversify the gene pool while also stabalizing it at the same time, its beyond me…and I, as always, have no real clue here, I dont even know the terms let alone the proper processes, just my honest observations and thoughts, some reading, and alot of greatly appreciated discussions with many friends. I totally get if this is just too confusing and I do apologize, Im not very good at describing these things in simple terms or any terms at all for that matter, if ya think ya can help me out, let me hear it!

I think you are correct in your assumption that both seeded females are going to produce 25% auto, 50% “fast” and 25% photo offspring. I’m not sure if you are supposed to call them F1 or F2s. I’d be inclined to pop them and keep them in veg for a few months. The autos will show themselves after a month, the true photoperiods would show after 3-4 months.
It looks like you were still 16/8 mid-November, talking about going 14/10 end-of-the month. They look pretty mature for 5-6 weeks of flower. Is that right? What’s your light cycle now?
When I started my seeds inside last season I ran 14/10 (6am-8pm) so they were getting photoperiod similar to what they’d have when I put them outside mid-May and they wouldn’t just burst into flower.
Glad things are generally going well, the plants look good. Sorry to hear about your dog That’s tough.
Nice. Those are seriously frosty. Glad you’ve got a project for winter. It’s not sunlight, but I’m sure it helps.
