What size container is that?

I read some of your posts and see that you recently started getting sick from cannabis. I have a buddy that had the same thing happen about a year ago. He’s been smoking for the last 25 years with no issues. I’m wondering if it may be related to feminized seeds. It’s so weird. Sounds like you have done some research on it. Is this more of a recent thing or has it been happening for decades to people? Hopefully you can get some answers at some point.

Dang, sorry yall, I had just wrote up an old school wicked ramble replying to all yall, mostly trying to apologize and explain that it was thankfully not my dog that past away though I deservedly feel like a fool now, sorry about that friends. Then I had tried to load up a few too many photos and lost it all because of my crappy connection and now I got to hit the sack.

All is well, Bobo is still layin around and so am I, about to anyways. Hope everyone is chillin, Ill try and log in soon and break down these girls flowering start times and first signs of sex and all that fun stuff when I can get another minute away from the wife. Shes cussing me out as I type lol I better get out of here. Ive kept pretty good notes as far as I go with notes at least :ok_hand::sweat_smile:

One for the road…

Why not? Check out this recent haul of stored frozen untrimmed Snowfire bubble…

Oh hell, gotta run! Stay up homies!

Yo brother…Used 5gals this round on all four plants, I was top watering for the longest time as outside its just fine but inside I use 3s and 5s and have been bottom watering with a wick system along with the fabric pots lately and its been a real game changer indoors, and then we use mostly 7gals as well as the best pot ever and your favorite, the earth of course! We’re getting close enough to actually think about it at least. Spring is coming! Blessings to you and all our family here

What’s up man! Im hopeful and fairly certain you are correct on the odds of these upcoming f2s. Luckily its all just odds and Im feeling lucky this year, if we dont roll the dice, we never win!

So I wrote down all the light changes and signs of sex and all that good stuff for this grow and trust me, they surprised me the whole time and still are. Photo x auto f1s are freakin fun to grow, there is no other way to put it. So vigorous. As far as full autos go, I’ve seen different autos show themselves at different times. Most would show, IME, around 10-14 days, first visible signs, ‘pre-flower’ but I just call it ‘early flower’.
These plants were…
Started Oct.19 and lights were 16/8
First visble and sure signs of sex were on Nov.22 with lights at 16/8 until a 15min reduction every three days, more or less, untill equal 12/12 on Dec.7
First pollination occurred on Dec.28 another on Jan5, same male, collected pollen.
I imagine that these would possibly flower much faster but the light reduction served a few purposes, research and sort of a way to get veg and flower, so its kind of hard to say when these plants really started to flower, Im just saying about five weeks or so but technically its been eight weeks lol I do know I confidently sexed all four plants before light schedule was changed but they would not fully flower until schedule was around 14/10 and lower, some sativas will flower at 14/10 and depending on what auto we’re working with, it will matter. In the end 12/12 was needed for these. On the next round, I will definitely be sticking to 16/8 until the true autos show themselves to be sure as it will be a very important generation to pin down. Always wishing my limit was bigger but we all know what they say about wishes. It might take me few more gens but we’ll get where we’re going one of these days!
Thank you for the kind words, my buddy appreciated it, truly :heart::blush:
Hope all is well brother!

Hey, thank you so much for that! I felt like I was going crazy, Im sorry for your friend but it does feel good to know Im not the only one. Ive felt ALOT better lately as Im not eating ridiculous amounts of weed anymore or inhaling concentrates all day. Duh, right? It was the same for me though, 25+years and nothing and then bam! Sicker than sick. I feel bad for anyone experiencing this yet not knowing what it is, like it was for me. Called denial I guess or just misinformation. Anyway, thanks again. Hope all is good!

Hey neighbor! Early bird gets the worm! I was putting this last batch off for weeks but now that its done, its like, why didnt I do this sooner? Was puffin on some decent bud but nothing does the trick for me like real nice full melt bubble.
Wonder if its gonna be a nice day for a hike? Or…I have these bags cleaned and ready to go, even got a few more frozen zips to throw in…lmk! Hope all is good brother!

Yo Webe!
Very sorry to hear about your recent loss, though happy you enjoyed the song and are in good spirits, thats got to be the best tune I know when we’re missing someone.
Other animals really do teach us alot if we’re willing to listen, learning to live in the present moment is something my babies are always showing and reminding me.
Im just about to go wake the pups up and take them out to go wake up the rest of the mountain with their crazy loud barking, just thankful for another day and thankful for you and all the amazing and kind folks around here🙏 Wishing you a great day and will have to head over to your channel and see what ya got going on, hope all is good man!

Hey Dendro, Thank you, man, he really had a great vibe! Never in a fight, never aggressive, just a sweet soul.
But to love them, is to feel crushed when they leave.
So, I got say good by, I laid down on the floor, with him, and we did the mind meld, for a couple of hours, and he was gone.
Once my tears were done, I let him go, as hard reality is life goes on.
I focus on the love we shared, with each other, and how many dogs he, helped get over their fear, their anxiety, he was just always at peace in this world.
He sure loved chewing stalks, hell he would chew some leaf if it was fluttering by his face when he was *helping * in the grow area.
I always feel more grounded around dogs.
I think I’ll go walk dogs at the SPCA for a few months, it is a great place to practice some walking meditation, and feed the dog some positive vibrations.
We think the brain is a receiver, but it broadcasts as well. Dogs taught me that.
Not just hippy shit, you just need to practice it.
I know you get it, just look at Bobo, calm as a clam.
So yeah, it’s hurtful, but I got to move forward, got to accept what life brings.
Oh man, love them pups brother, all they want is some of our time, walking is bonding, bonding allows us to open our hearts, open hearts, heal quicker, so we can, let that shit go.
My grow areas, are doing ok, I’m running some beans, for ~nuggz, well he put a shout out, and I was looking for a reason to fast track some plants to make some space, win win for both of us.
Take care my friend, wash yourself in forgiveness, what is past is past.

Oh brother, sending you an air hug :hugs::cry:
Anytime you want to come say hello to Bobo, just lmk, I’ll ask him if he’s busy or has any plans but usually he’s fairly laid back and ready to chill :v::green_heart:

Thanks. I’ve been obsessing over root space recently. This last summer, a friend grew some of my seeds in 2-3 gallon containers. The results were outstanding bud (a little rustic, just the way I like it) but very little of it. The rule is 1 ounce per gallon of root space, give or take and that’s how it turned out.
Even putting them in the ground must require a good bit of prep work. It seems like the best bet would be loosen/soften/condition about a cubic meter for each plant.

Yeah man, I agree thats a decent expectation or more likely, at first, a realistic future expectation on yield per container size/root space, though, as they say, rules are ment to be broken and we do it around here often and Im sure yall do too! It really comes down to so many things as you know and Ive had some plants that really surprised me. Sometimes its the plants in little ass pots that were flat out neglected that end up showing up the whole lot.
I’ll have to measure my raised plots, Id guess that they are around four feet square? I dont know my calculations of that space but this year Im learning my leason and going to do other veggies in another area, though in those same plots as last year, we’ll put a bunch of full autos and maybe some f1 photo x auto crosses for the first few months and then hopefully put out two each per plot indoor started photo fems in to finish up the year but you knows, we’re always subject to change around here.
Im working the soil once every week or so until about a month before planting, then will let it sit, feeling food about this year. Sounds like you have your ducks lined up as well. Im sure more of our friends around here are getting those outdoor wheels turning! Cant wait to see and hear how this year goes.
I have a few of my picks set…
Starberry Greases x Marley’s Grin
Banana Berry Muffins x Don Johnson
Maui x Gold Leaf
Banana Kush x (Don Mega x Grapefruit)

Do you or anyone here have their outdoor(or indoor lol) picks yet? Its really hard to commit this early but just seeing the list kind of sets it in ya know? I guess I’ll have to start another thread or at least change the year
Im slackin!
Hope all is good man!

For outdoor I’m planning MTG Orange Turbo, as that was one of Frenchy’s recommended strains to make hash with. Might pop a fem seed of something else. Not sure what yet though

Damn, I wish I could run some outdoor ladies.
These are standing in the dark, for a few days, before I cull them.
3 g pots, an ORFN, and offering from Diggy, 2021 fall Box, not sure, really, I was hoping to get a Kashmir, and I do not care at this point as she is nice, well both are alright.

One day, maybe I’ll get to stretch a few up to potential out back.
All the best Dendro!!

Hey man, finally have some time to sit down and get back to ya.

Your picks look great! I’m torn as well. I’ve acquired a bunch more seeds, partially because of my promotions and mostly because of sales around XMAS, coming across rare stuff I want for future years. Mostly nostalgic stuff. Probably going to vacuum seal several packs this afternoon to stuff into the bottom of the chest freezer. I like knowing that I have everything I could want down the road already safe and sound :sunglasses:

This year is going to be a mostly dessert year, Chocolope, Bubblegum and 907 Blue Genes. Maybe Honduras x Panama rather than the Chocolope, really torn on that. Can’t wait, few more months. Been shopping for soil amendments and figuring out what I’m going to do there. Probably 3x 50 gallons this time, rather than 15s and 30s. Especially going organic bigger seems better for more reasons than just bigger plants.

I really like seeing your information about sexual expression vs time and photoperiod. I’ve mostly been learning about how to actually reverse the auto pollen plants and pollinate using the pollen. We’ll see how my experiment works out the next year after that.
