Dendro's Outdoor Grow 2022

Those Ghose Pipes are weird. Hopefully they pop back up! Alien looking shit :alien:

That BBM x ECK looking really nice! They are looking very happy.

Love that turtle baby. We don’t see those around here. We get mudfrogs that are also kinda cute, but the other half hates them for some reason.

Have a great summer man, it’s great to see 'ya.

Wow dendro, that is the smallest turtle man! I’ve found many of the years walking along the small trout streams in our area. But I never saw one that small!! That is some eagle eyes man!

I just restarted up some of my mushroom equipment, a friend gave me a petri dish of Lions Mane.
So I cooked some pellets, and inoculated 3 5lb bags a week or so ago now.
We’ll see, I do not know anything about them except they promote good health, so I’m in.
Building a (cheapo) flow hood also.
Great pics man!!
All the best to ya!!

Thanks for posting the ghost pipes. I’ve seen those before, but didn’t know what they were. Very cool. Your cannabis plants are looking really nice, too. I saw a small red fox in the woodline yesterday. It was about 50 feet into the woods when it spotted me. It ran about 10 feet, turned around and stared at me some more. The wife and I call them “kitty-dogs”, and like most other critters, they are welcome here.

This entire journal is dedicated to Jgrrl…an Angel who plucked a shady stranger off of the streets over 11 years ago and worked her magic on this trampled little sprout…watered, fed, re-potted, and even if but for a single moment, ultimately revived and thriving. Its been a real trip.

Most importantly, she taught me that love is most definitely real.

J recently went through a major surgery, and thankfully she is in full recovery now, though all prayers are greatly appreciated.

As far as the garden grows…the resulting unplanned hero dose of good 'ole LITFA has really shown me that it is worth the effort to cut back on unnecessary effort, from time to time.

As always, if anyone would like some free seed to play around with, just holler.

Hey Dendro!! Great post!!
Been cherry picking, pitting, packaging, and we gave away so far, maybe 50 lb’s, of our Montmorency cherries. We have all our needs in the freezer for the year. This one small tree just exploded with cherries this weird spring, in our area anyway.
Also eating some (few) of the zuccunni’s, sugar peas, green beans already this year.
My garlic bulb chunks, I planted last fall, in a 3 g pot, I just made a drying rack for those bulbs.
For many folks, it would be a bust, as I had only 1 really nice size bulb, a few decent ones, and the rest smaller. But these came from a garlic bulb, that was not really very nice. I never expected them to grow. Will be doing way more this fall.
Oh well, the small bulbs, will become bug juice, gnats hate the shit. Keeps my pots gnat free for a couple of months.
I’m in therapy, this week. Or in other words, dog sitting!!
Man they bring my old heart up, big time, when we tend them. They love chasing the rabbits, and I love seeing them running wild with reckless abandon. They are both very dear souls, and would not bite the rabbits if they did catch one.
I’m also growing some mushrooms again. The weed capsules I made are really helping the wifes sleeping, far better then we ever expected. So now, I’ll add some mushroom goodies to them.
I have 3 Lions Mane pushing outta the bags now, in my crappy Martha set up. Hell, I built a flow hood, also.
I also found some very mind calming YouTubes, one for those that like to doodle with blank paper and pen, it’s called Neurographic Art.
Nothing to buy, nothing special to get, just blank paper, a pen, and let your mind and hand wander, filling in the void.
Some psychologist found it can help those struggling with different types of mind truma. It is very calming to doodle.
All the best to you man!! webe

So yesterday, after J and I got back to the ranch…I went out to water the garden and out of all my years searching for and studying reptiles and other fauna…this surprised me more than anything. Ever.

That little baby turtle that I had snapped a few pics of and shared with yall, well, he/she showed right back up, weeks later, in the exact same spot. Right next to the little blueberry plant that looks like its been nibbled on a few times. As far as I know baby eastern box turtles dont eat vegetation yet it is possible, since adults will occasionally eat fruit and veggies. The spot itself has a nice little humid micro-climate that stays fairly moist, though Im absolutely blown away that this same turtle was in the same spot after this much time. And @webeblzr Dude! I wouldnt have seen this one if I hadnt been watering and observing the little blueberry cutting and its slow demise. Yet, its all been worth it to be able to have interacted with that tiny cute turtle, not only once, but twice!
Maybe somethings just in the kool-aid Im drinking around here? What it means, I have no idea, well, I have a clue. But Im still learning about all this magic.
Thank you and @Blackbeard for the well wishes and prayers and right back at ya.

Ohh, and yet another coincidence or maybe more magic…I had pulled my garlic yesterday!

Blessings Brothers and Sisters, please accept the Love that connects us ALL as unseen mycelium threading through our existence. Yes, all actions have a reaction. Choose wisely and please enjoy a safe slow coasting day yall

Cool indigo, if that is what it is. You don’t have a strong innate fear of snakes, either, do you? Non-venomous ones, anyway.

Looking sharp and that snake is sic as f. :sunglasses: :vulcan_salute:

Yo there big bro…hope you are well…that snake is mostly know as the ‘Black RatSanake’ or ‘Eastern Ratsnake’ and yes, a big one like that did look like an Indigo, I have not been blessed with a personal sighting of the King of all North American serpents, and for good reason. Close second would be, imho, the Eastern KingSnake, though I read the Indigo eats that sub-species cousin down there in your area, for breakfast.
Anywho…thanks for stopping by my brother, its always good to see you!

And here is a page out of a really amazing book gifted to me recently, a collection of artwork by a guy named Joe Roberts, called ‘we ate the acid’. Some of his work is quite complex, especially when seen under an appropriate lense, yet some pages can seem utterly simple and get right to the point. Very comforting and real.

I especially enjoyed this one here and thought of you @webeblzr when you wrote about the magical powers of doodling just the other day…

Mush Love Fam  Its been way too long and I pray all is well with the community here. Working on staying drama free so gonna focus on the plants and maybe the occasional natural happenstance of lifes clamp connections. Hard to believe I started this documentation around two seasons ago or three depending on your perspective lol and Im proud to say we are still kickin it old school around here, last of our kind type of show. Well, I did say “no more drama” so lets just get to it…

The year…is 2024…or so we’re told, so we’ll just roll with it…

The genetics being grown out are these, give or take a few, gotta remember that little VA limit…

Banana Berry Muffins and Banana OG auto project includes but not limited to…Banana OG x Strawba the Hutt…BBM x El’Chemi Kiwi and BBM x Double Smile…have quite a bit of proving out to do…managed to get some reg seeds from three fem auto’s…I popped one to see if it was auto and it was so now we are gonna take the training wheels off. So much dang fun being a grown ass child
Peter Pan for life with a little Robin Hood thrown in for extra heart.

Two of the hopeful ‘outdoor fasts’ fron last years chucks (BBM x ECK) x Banana Butter Breath…these were due to havi g no other male at that time…the BBM x ECK flowers very fast…almost like an auto but gets big first or can be flipped like a photo as desired…we absolutely love them and are excited to test out the othe photo/auto f1s.

This here is BBM x Brisco’s “Grape Greases” and Ive heard great things from the one brother who asked for some love. And dude hooked me up with some amazing old school genetics that I would have never obtained on my own so I cant thank him enough for hitting me up for that ‘favor’ lol
heck of a guy!

And then these are “Greases Pieces” from HydroRed(3thirteen) x Banana Butter Breath by Nachos and El’Sapos(ive been growing and smoking as well as playing around with these dudes work and I dont stay very well informed online but I had read that their crew recently experienced a loss and my heart goes out to them and we dedicate this years grow to the OGs that help us all get started and independent with our head stash.

And finally here is the first of the Fugue State x ((Banana OG x Strawba the Hutt) x (Fiona’s Chem Cake x Strawba the Hutt))

The ‘house made’ reg male auto was also crossed to Mephisto’s Marly’s Grin and
Funky Mangifera. Have yet to even try an pop those…did gift a few out but we all know how that goes.

Im having trouble as always with this app and my country ass internet connection lol so speaking of…its time to get back outside and check on the dogs, the fam, the garden, and hopefully can check back here soon and try and get this year going again…May our year be full of blessings and smart hard work
…Peace and Love…Dendro(aka brett)
