Greetings Stockton. I just joined. Found this thread. I am an American who has been living, working, and growing Thai strains for over 30 years. Nothing compares with Thai ganja if grown right. I just started a new grow for this year. Feel free to connect. I’m sure we can learn from one another.

Hey guys, unfortunately just one seed sprouted but didn’t look so healthy. I put it in dirt the other day, no signs if life so far.

The other 4 I tossed because they had that slimey stuff all around and generally didn’t look good. It is what it is :expressionless:

Things have changed in this corner of the world and I will try to figure out the details the next few weeks but it is clear that a paradim shift happened at least in the social stigma of cannabis. Yesterday I bought a plant from the local market and there’s QR-code signs where you can scan to get seeds. I have yet to see any (openly) sold dried flowers. The “traditional” outlets (read the black-market) seem to have responded quickly and where there was earlier just one type of smoke available, there’s now multiple types of products like the old thai weed, indoor weed and oil to name some.

I don’t know the exact laws yet nor how they will be enforced but it feels like a new and exiting time and seeing vegetative plants and seeds being offered, as a life time stoner at least, is a huge change. It’s way less stressful to roll and smoke though it is not ok to just walk down the street puffin away, but in private it is.

Happy Monday and puff puff pass

The plant I bought planted in a basket

Indeed! Going for a trip early this morning I was stuck behind this truck towing pretty huge plants, taller than a man.

Ganja plant fit into the natural beauty pretty well and now that one can grow a few plants it is much more common to see them in gardens all over for good and ill.

10 for 10 now lets see if these survive the tropics

Well it was actually 12 for 10 hehe as I rescued a couple of plants that were deemed “dead” by my thai friend but 2 out of a 60 tray looked good enough to save.

So a few

C5 Mango Haze (second gen)
C99
Granny Haze which is some sort of haze hybrid
And the two thai plants which I don’t know the origin of.

Also at my house there are a few

Z99
C99
Thai seeds from the north east regions Isaan/Laos

Its rainy season now so a few more months of daily water will be interesting to see how the hybrids do. All going down towards 12 hours of night now which should finish everything off.

And it begins again. I look forward to following along.

Yes, a new cycle is started and off it goes. Especially keen to observe what the northeastern thai will give. Last time I grew from this source the resulting plants - although good - showed a lot of variance both dark and green. I got lots of purple seedlings from them about 2 years ago so it will be fun to see what’s in it now. Oddly enough they as the western seeds are at 100% germ rate

4 of 7 of the northern thai also cracked and I think at least one Z99 at the other place. Variety is the spice of life
