So did anyone find some old sensi stock of Shiva skunk ? I have the skunk 2 from Mel Frank. Master Thai skunk 1, acc RKS, and jack herer from Mel Frank. I’m starting to want to run the Shiva as that’s one I haven’t yet.

Personally, I have not acquired one single pack claiming to be “the real skunk,” but instead, I’ve acquired over half a dozen skunk strains to find my own best smelling plants. It’s not going to be “THE real skunk,” but the keepers are going to be MY skunks

Any of you that don’t have skunks in your country, I feel for you. You may never know what we are talking about.
Anything labeled skunk is going to be sweet 90% of the time maybe more. I think it’s going to be found in the coffee phenos

Well, since I’m going for a skunk smell, it will be the plants that most closely resemble my scent related memories of the 90’s, looks have very little to do woth this run in comparison to the scent/smoke I’m after

Everything smells like a skunk when you aren’t around weed. Car drives by smoking a blunt while I’m walking the dog…smells like skunk.
I’m from the US Midwest…I know what skunk smells like lol.
I used to have old people tell me I smelled like skunk when I was smoking Mexi brick.
In the UK the slang for all good weed is “skunk”.
It’s a term like “dank” or “fire” to denote quality.
There is no “RKS” as a variety. This is a new term made up to sell seeds. No one called it that before a few years ago.
How can “skunk” have been everywhere, supposedly, and is now “extinct”? Literally all modern genetics have skunk 1 and/or Afghan Skunk in them…if it could be “found” someone would have by now.

No one’s offended, it’s just that everyone is chasing their tail looking for something that never actually existed and scammers are happy to sell beans to the credulous.
“looking for skunk” has become very trendy recently and plenty of folks are cashing in on the low stakes highest return hustle of seeds. Heime Cheeba sold $600 packs of it and people bought them. Blueskiesvienna has made tens of thousands off the skunk scam. Riot sold those $500 “skunk spray” seeds.

Just told you. Coffee and chocolate phenos is were i would be looking. Not sweet skunk#1 that is fruit all day, it was bred to be less stanky.

I’ve been hearing “skunk was bred to be less skunky” forever…it’s just simply not true. How can it have been “everywhere in the 90’s” and gone now? We have clones available older than the 90’s.
I’m just saying…it’s not “a thing” that ever existed as we think it did. I hate watching fellow hobbyists waste time and money looking for something that doesn’t actually exist, as much as I hate watching scammers prosper.

My dog got sprayed by a skunk a few years back. If I remember correctly the smell didn’t smell anything like pot. It smelled like acrid nose burning chemicals, it was so over whelming

@Jbug distance is everything lol. Up close you’ll gag, from a mile away it’s almost pleasant. Like how a little gasoline on your clothes almost smells good but sniff a jerry can and it’s unpleasant.
