ELG's Strawberry Banana Seed Run Attempt

Okay, so a few things happened… Yesterday I was thinking about how I could have been able to keep one of the 2 clones female or just spray like half of the nodes to at least make some seeds but for sake of not loosing my chance I sprayed both just in case one doesn’t make it.

This morning I woke up and it still bugged me so I went and grabbed 2 more cuttings from the mother. And… I got some rooting hormones… because i’m getting impatient and it’s cheap. So I’ll change the title of the thread from " elgs organic strawberry banana seed run" to “elgs strawberry banana seed run attempt” since it’s no longer fully organic.

First since I already know the mother is not clean, I execute PROTOCOL 0 by @JoeCrowe . The protocol says to cut every leaf and only leave the meristem (is that how you spell that?) But I left some leafs because I’m thinking it may help since it’s flowering.

30 mins in 8 ph straight tap water held submerged by a silicon funnel, I cut the lower leafs after the bath.

After I’m done potting them I go check on the sprayed/old clones what do I see?

White translucid mother f*cker

And I looked around a little and holy shit there were a lot all of a sudden. They were all on the rim of the pot. It looked like they came out just after I watered the plants. On the 2nd pic we can see a web, so are they spider mites? (Pardon the noobery) Anyway I just cut the old clones, threw away the soil, washed the pots and saucers and protocol 0’d them. Here you can see a drowned motherf*cker

Everyone after the bath

Let them chill for a few hours and of course I forgot to water the old clones… I’m lucky if I manage to make at least one seed.

Oh and on like day 4 of flip+CS leafs on one old clone started to mutate like a taco pointing upward and downward on another leaf.

At this point I don’t know what to do but to just keep trying until they all die or I get infested.
