Example of high priced seeds

And they are regs :flushed: what happens if you get 10 males from 10 seeds??? I know it’s a long shot but it COULD still happen. I’d be seriously pissed off

Shits medicine for a lot of people mf got no morals. Then on the practical side the flower buyer does not give two shits how much the grower paid for the seeds even the loudest loud has trouble competing on the market with $100ounces of decent cali outdoor all over the place.

I won’t pay more than 10.00 a seed and that’s for fems. I might never grow a seed again. Oregon’s like toys r us for clones.

Shit ain’t even legal here and the markets bust. If it gets that cheap I’ll have to either quit growing or scale back down to a 2x4 veg 4x4 flower setup :sob:

I wish I could get these prices. We’re legal but don’t have rec dispensaries. In the event I have to buy trees they are always overpriced and a crapshoot on quality.

I’m seeing more and more polyhybrids with no journal test descriptions etc nothing almost, and pics showing fox tailed cannabis with stretched internodes that are avg 6" away from the next few colas it made.
What’s so special is the color, frost, and high price per chuck. Maybe the breeder doesn’t know how to grow or is using pgrs incorrectly.

I originally spent $400plus on seeds with the Idea that I would only pay once and copy some seeds. I got only 1 keeper strain and since have traded, bred or whatever to get 10 great strains for my stash. It was a learning process and not all seed breeders are equal. A great pack of $100 seeds is probably worth it if you can trust the genetics. Hermies everywhere!

Feel like Gage Green belongs in this thread. I don’t know how great their lines are, but the prices alone keep me away.

I don’t see the connection of mid’s and illegals. If I lived in Guatemala I would be hiking thousands of miles with my children, what are they going to do go south. Food shortage I get it. “munchies” Peace.

In 2005 was paying 100.00 for ten seeds of Subcools gear TGA I spent over a thousand had 10-12 strains gave them to my ex-father in law 2008. Feels like that muscle car I sold in 2015 last time gas was 5.00 a gallon. Now WTF.

foxtails are great for hashing and biscotti is great. not sure what your beef is.

I personally have always been willing to spend more for better product but there has to be a point where it becomes not worth it IMO. I think many prices these days are just driven by social media and hype.

I will pay up to around 200 for something I really want from a reputable breeder. The Top Dawgs I ran come to mind for being higher priced. On the cheaper end I’ve bought esos seeds at around 50 and they were pretty nice. Generally like to only pay 100, one reason I get cannarado gear, it’s reasonably priced and you can find some really nice phenos but beware hermies can be found in some of these poly hybrids.
But I am very picky when it comes to the Herb I grow and smoke. Been through hundreds of seeds over the years and only found a handful of plants I’d deem keepers, found lots of decent plants, But id say most were undesirable plants to me.

Don’t think I’d ever touch any of that 500 a pack nonsense. Your not guaranteed to find a keeper, hell most packs I’ve ran I haven’t found a keeper.
I’ve also ran packs that I hated every plant, I was super pissed having it fill like half my room, thats when i stopped trying new plants in big pots, have to try them out in small pots in case you dont like them.
It’s one reason I made the keepers I found available, cause I know how much of a pain in the butt it is to find a winner. Not everyone has time and space to pheno hunt.
I couldn’t imagine paying 500-1000 and getting a whole bunch of bunk plants. I’m sure you can find some heaters in those beans but you could also find nothing of substance just like any pack you buy.
Buying seeds to me is kinda like the lottery, you could get lucky and hit the jackpot but chances are your not going to hit it. Might win a free ticket or a 20 if your lucky. Not sure if that makes sense to anyone but me…lol

I’d ask if you’re stretching that idea much but then they’d think it’s a pun.
