So I went to take photos of the plants and found spider mites all over the snow thrower and eternal sunshine. I have cut down everything except the pahp , mhp and the pink kish. They were opposite end of the room. So maybe they will make it, but i’m frustrated. I can only assume that the cutting I took and isolated for 6 weeks still had mites.
I was just about to start the next round, even had a post and seeds set out, and feel back to zero again. Time to step away for today.

Sorry to hear that bro. Hope things only get better from here.

Thanks! I was feeling particularly frustrated last night, but it was a risk i chose to take. Just wish the price hadn’t been so high. Hopefully the remaining plants make it without infestation.
Maybe popping some of these will cheer my up while I scrub everything haha

Alright so far less plants but here are the Purple afghans. I put too much fish in the initial mix for these two, so they are showing some burn. However its starting to fade and even the leaves are turning purple on this first one. Terps are increasingly fruityish with a backend of pepperoni. Weird.
And the second. Smaller yield, super resinous. Smell is spicy sweet compost. Also weird
And mango hash. A little windburn, but otherwise good. Nice yield and a good mango smell.

I removed all the plants and cleaned the room. Also wiped off ass many leaves by hand as i could on the others. With the newborn on the go, it was lame. It buoys my hope that the remaining plants will make it and that my purge was sufficient.
All this done, i’ve finally had a bit more time and money to get the rest of my space up to speed. I’ve got the main flower room functioning quite well from what I’ve seen. Other than contamination, And some small adjustments. So I’ve started getting the ball rolling on my veg and breeding area. I’ve got a second separately ventilated room and between the two rooms is a 4ft corridor. The corridor will become my veg area. I’m rigging up an 8x2ft potting bench with led strips above with the ability to add a second layer above. In the room, I have 2 4x4 veg tents set up with foot high tables in each. That way it essentially has a separated lung room.
I’m just waiting on the lights and inline fan, then i should be able to finish and start an open pollination of the purple afghans. Pretty excited, just need to be patient haha.

The lower yielding pahp is ripening fast now. Maybe down by christmas! Yay
The smell has really shifted to a musky fruit on this one.
Pink kush looking kushy.

Got some ok shots of the Pink Kush today. Really starting to look interesting, structure looks like hard golf ball nugs. It really smells good, very kush but complex. It may change as it ripens but i’ll be interested to try the flower.
The smaller pahp looks like itll be done close to seven weeks at the rate shes going. She also stinks like crazy, stunk out my whole space. Its been increasing each day, stoked on this one.
I also started the seeds from my previous post. I’ve got 2 crosses from kind OG members and a beanhoarder cross. On the plate are:
Ghost x black lebanese x5
This is ghost from mark on strainly crossed to black Lebanese from pollen provided by lefthandseeds. Big thank you to @BigMike55 for the kindness.
Sweet Jack x blueberry x4
A jack herer backcross using sweettooth then crossed with blueberry. Beanhoarder describes this as one of his favourite crosses, should be a go\od place to try his gear. I was cautious, but after seeing @Oldtimerunderground ’s tasty looking blockhead decided to roll the dice.
Black Snow. X8
Black triangle crossed to a Solo’s stash male. Excited to try these as there could be some cool phenos. Thank you for sending these to a stranger @anonymous4289.
Oh yeah and the Mango hashplant smells like pink lemonade. I am really hoping it keeps that smell.

Gotta see that Ghost grow. I harvested mine a bit too early. The buds were not fully developed. It was still really good smoke tho. Don’t really know what the Lebanese brings to the table, tho. Hope you find something awesome in there.

@anonymous4289 Thanks man! My plan is to get 4-5 females in 10 gallon pots, so should get some decent examples. Any idea what kind of stretch to expect?
@BigMike55 yeah man! Thats the fun of these, no idea how it’ll shake out. The black leb seems likes its been worked and likely so has the ghost which could mean good things. Always love to explore.

no clue on the stretch, i put one outside last year and it reached 10 feet but that’s totally different than indoor stretch i think.

Well I guess i’ll find out, but wont get them to big before flip. I’ve not run anything with snow lotus or pure kush in it so I was curious.

Some great looking dense buds on the mango hashplant. Smells strongly of pink lemonade . Considering I only got one female, shes a beauty. Looks like it might go around 9 weeks, but we’ll see.
The seeds have germinated. So far the numbers are:
Black Snow 7/8 (one damp off, 2 looking shaky.)
Ghost x black Leb 3/5 (2 still on the towel, insane roots on 2)
Sweet jack x bb 3/4 (1 super healthy, 2 slow, 1 on the towel)

Looking great man.
Cant wait to see the new babies.

Seedlings looking good. No fresh germinations on the existing group in the towels. Still got 2 each of the ghost x BL and sweet jack x bb sitting on the towels.
The black snow on the far right had savage helmet head, but i managed to remove the casing. Its still green so lets hope it makes it.
The sweet jack x bb are a little slow except for 1. Of the 2 slow plants 1 looks good now, but the other seems to be glacial.
Crazy rooting on the Ghost x black leb, never seen something like it. But I think lefthandseeds mentioned this being a trait of the Lebanese side. Hope they are different, always love something new.
Oh and I started 2 of the Blue note x mendo breath seeds that @Cadman was kind enough to send in his christmas gift. I was only going to plant one as they are fems I think, but one seed had a cracked casing. Well they both started overnight so excited for those. First dip into the breath strains.

Well i had to cut the mango hash early because despite humidity 45-50 and heavy air circulation. Every single major cola developed bud rot. So did the giant cola on on one of the purple afghans. The buds were silly dense. But after all the other crap in the last while, its a struggle to not give up.

Oh man, Im absolutely gutted to hear that.
It really does just seem like one thing after another at times.
How are the seedlings coming along for you?

Thanks man! I was more than a little emotional, especially after a bad night with the baby. I still have no idea what caused the budrot. Ive never had problems at this humidity range inside.
Was the humidity still to high? Were there spores from somewhere? Was it letting temps sit at 83 during lights on?
I’ve got 2 16 inch oscillating fans going together with the dehumidifier. I’d been worried it was too much. There were only 3 plants in there too. Now i’m paranoid for next round as I don’t want a repeat.
The seedlings are going ok had some small issues.
The black snow is going well. I managed to save the helmet head seedling which i was happy about. One of the healthy ones shriveled so now there are 6.
The ghost black leb are doing well, but the 2 that were on the towel didnt germ. I threw them in some ewc so maybe they’ll pop but I’m skeptical.
Sj x bb only 2 germinated and added 2 more. Nothing in 4 days since then, also transferred the first 2 to ewc.
Both mendobreath x bluenote are happy and healthy as well.

Really hope everything is ok with your little one, how old? Its full on with babies.
We have a really high ambient r/h level in general, but rot is always waiting for a chance.
I just go for overkill in the air exchange department, for a 10 x 15’ veg space I use a 10" box fan, moves 2500m3 per hour.
In a 12 x 10’ space I use 2 x 10" inline can fans able 2 move 1660m3 each.
I know its over kill, but I very rarely get botrytis.
You’ve got skills man, dont let it get to you. Good night sleep and a happy baby, you’ll be back in your grove in no time.
