Federal legalization in the USA, what does the future hold for cannabis?

Criminals give up all legal rights to their testicles. It’s in the constitution.

who cares? it was illegal most of my life and didn’t make one bit of difference. it can be illegal again since it never did get legalized fully anyway and i’ll still be able to go to the store down the street and get it. oh, and i got the devil post on this thread!

They couldn’t stop the movement so they studied the problem and found “legalizing” it was just as lucrative and get the publics support at the same time. They can play both sides

Just today, I was on another forum, that will remain unnamed, and we were discussing politics, which is allowed on that forum. I will also say me and another guy, a amongst others have engaged many, many times over the months.

But anyway over time I guess my point of view made him go over the edge, and he called me a law breaker, knew what I was getting into, when I did it, and deserved what I got.

So, what did I do??

In the 90s I was growing weed with 2 friends uncle. It started out his niece, who Ive known since grade school, as well as his nephew, the niece asked me if I could show her uncle how to tell males, from females? And I said yes. Consider her uncle lived 150 miles away, in south central kentucky. Lincoln County. Killer limey soil, and only small, rolling hills. Deep soil base. Hes also dead now.
So I showed him how to tell males from females, and in the long run, he rented a big house in my home town, 150 miles away, so I could grow weed, and mainly mother plants, to make clones, to put on his 2000 acre farm. He had already been growing 3 years, on his farm, and wanted to do bigger crops.

Also it just so happens, I had the best fucking weed Id seen in 20 years, and I had seeds of it, and had been growing it since 1991, and it was the best stuff Id seen since the 70s, when we could get real Columbian Santa Marta Gold, Acapulco Gold, Oaxacan, Panama Red. A buddies brother brought back some Cambodian Black in 1971, as they werent searching the GIs coming back then. He brought 10lbs back in a foot locker.
But this strain was a Haze x NL5 x Nevils Hashplant/Sk#1. And every plant was a clone of the lastone. There was absolutely no variation from seed to seed. In almost 7 years of growing it, I never saw one plant that wasnt straight up fire. It was the most consistent stuff from seed to seed Ive ever seen. From Before, or since. And it dominated any cross.
It was extremely potent, and one girl is still mad at me, because, she still, 26 years later, thinks I put PCP in it. She smoked about a 1/8 of a joint, that was about a gram joint. Probably hit it 4 times. She got sick, turned pale white, and had to lay on the floor for 4 hours because she was so dizzy, and sick. She laid in front of the toilet, dry heaving.
But anyway, to say it was really good weed, is a gross understatement. I live next to a big park everyone used to hang in from the 60s-90s, and when I had this weed, I used to go and look for victims.
But I had the seeds, the know how, and he bought all the equipment, rented the house, and I went to town. I started around Dec, and my main concern, was vegging enough mother plants, to get a huge amount of cuttings. So I started about 100 seeds, and started them under 1000w Metal Halide. I actually had 8 x 1000w MH. But only need 1x 1000w light starting out 100 seedlings in 18oz plastic cups.
I will also say this was some of the fastest stuff, if not the fastest flowering weed Ive seen. It was done in 45 days. So it must have taken the NL5/Hashplant/Sk1 genetics. BUT, outside, it wasnt done until 1st week of November. Outside it is very late to trigger, but when it did, it flowered like winter was next week. Was a medium producer. Narrow Leaf. Reeked ike cat piss, and flowers. Tasted like the best hah you ever smoked, and was complete lung buster. Youd have a stroke if you took a fair hit of it, and try to hold it in. It was unsafe to drive and smoke it, as it would make you lose your vision for a few seconds if you take to big of a hit. Then youd be coughing like youve got lung cancer. You could smell this stuff growing 300 feet away. We had it in a basement one time, and you could smell it down the block.
It was better than any skunk weed we ever had, and we grew that from 197801984, when my buddy got ratted out, and lost the genetics. Genetics came from Meigs County Ohio, from the originator of Meigs Cunty Gold. Willie Nelson used to get weed from this guy. He passed in 2020. William Keith “Noodles” Hayes. He was 75 or so in 2020. My buddy, and Keith were both really old school. Buddy also passed last Oct 31. I found him. In the 70s, Meigs was known as the Humboldt County of the East.
Ive also wondered if Keith was any relation to the so called Haze Brothers. And the dude had Skunk in 1978, and he gave my buddy Indica Seeds in 1972. He also had Skunk #2 in the 70s as he bred that with Acapulco Gold to create Meigs Cunty Gold. My buddy was a musician, and was opening for James Gang in Athens Ohio, in 1971, and he met Noodles there, and he invited my friend to his farm. His son made a couple posts, a couple years ago, on RIU Forum.

But to make a long story longer.
I gave him 500 clones to take, and put on his farm, and he got caught, and told on me.
So the FBI shows up at the house, with the local FIVCO Area Drug Task Force. They call themselves FADE. And a 30 man Swat Team.
So they come in, and find 750 more clones. Ended up, I got charged with manufacturing all of them…1250… Plus I had a grow room in the upstairs. As I was vegging mothers in one area, I was doing clones in a big kiddie swimming pool, and gutters. I got gutters, capped them, and filled them with water, and aiir stones, and floated some of them with styrofoam. Others I used Calcitic/Dolomitic Lime Sphagnum Moss, Vermiculite, Perlite, and wetting agent.
And a flowering room in another room. I had a huge basement, 5 rooms downstairs, and 5 rooms, and a bath upstairs.

But ended up, he got off with no felony, and I went to Federal Prison for 7 years, and 5 years Supervised Release. I spent from 1997-2009 under their thumb. I lost all the seeds of course, and Ive been looking for the likes of it ever since. If I could find seeds/weed as good, my seed buying days would be over.
I pled Guilty to a Mandatory Minimum 10-LIFE, and 3-5 MILLION $$$ Fine, which was waived. Cant get blood, out of a turnip. I also told the FBI, and Federal Prosecutor, Kevin Dicken, Fuck You to their faces, when they tried to get me to wear a wire, and rat on my friends.

But the guy on the other forum, called me a law breaker, and that I got what I deserved, and I knew it was illegal when I did it. Which is all mostly true. But citizens have a constitutional duty, to break unjust laws.
IMHO until a person can grow weed, unmolested by anyone, it will never be truly legal, and people will still go to prison for growing it, in many places…
They did just legalize Medical, in Ky, but youre not going to be able to smoke buds, and no growing. And for me, edibles dont work. They give be terrible gastric distress for 2-3 days after I ingest it. It kills my stomach. So what will people who cant do edibles?? And I do not like vaping. Many times the fuckers reinsert terpenes back into the oil, and I aint gonna smoke that.

Big difference between an outlaw and a criminal

not really. one has been caught while the other hasn’t yet. at least in the us with the whole “innocent until proven guilty” bullshit. merely semantics.

America forgot what its all about. Freedom and opportunity.

Prohibition ended due to a multitude of factors, one of which being people started requesting jury trials, and the jury would say they were innocent because the laws were a fucking joke.

Our founding fathers had their shit together. It’s the politicians that followed them who started effing us over.

that depends on what you mean by “had their shit together”. there were some good ones for sure, but most were just the same as any other people at any other time. i mean when you think about how bad they wanted freedom yet had no problem just taking what they wanted from the people who already lived here and see just how hypocritical it was then maybe they weren’t such shining examples you think they are.

and yet here we are in America, hundreds of years later, with the most freedom in the entire world…

it’s always good to push the envelope, kick the tires, and make sure we’re headed in the right path, absolutely. but the blatant anti-american hyperbole you show in multiple threads is frustrating to read. zoom out, get out of your own head, and try to recalibrate.

mute me. it’s not anti-american, it’s anti-establishment. i love my country and hate my government. i would much rather they cooperate,. yet here we are. the people inside said country are fine alone or in small groups, but watch out when too many congregate, either in person or on the internet. i’ll tell you what’s frustrating, it’s frustrating hearing the crap all day long and this is a great escape from it and why i try to keep politics out of it. this is veering too close, but the picture i posted the other day was not in my opinion, yet it went quick. no, i see things with no rose colored distortion and the only bias i have is looking to see just how badly wrong i was when i had the stars in my eyes and was full on deceived in my youth. you’re seeing the recalibration.

Rhetoric and reality are different things.

For example, I have way more weed freedom than you do.

I respectfully disagree.

Ideology makes and breaks us all. When we stand together, incredible things happen, good and bad.

Freedom is relative. What are you free from? Certainly not over regulation of cannabis.
