So things are starting to come together here. Multiple culls. All the AK88s are female and the black pepper hash plant are all male.
So no hash plants this time.
It looks like I’m running:

The BPHP would have been nice but oh wel.
At lease my cabinet is looking alot more manageable.

Impatient:
The male is in a yogurt cup so it needs to be watered everyday. That’s going to become annoying but there’s no footprint for uppotting.

A few things to note:
With this light in this space I’ve found a stadium style canopy works best. That’s why those two are so short. I tied them that way.
The male is the tall one.
Feet don’t fail me now.

Now that I’ve thought about it a little bit I’ve decided this is bullshit.
I’m working under too many constraints.
The male in this little pot is unmanageable so I think what I’m going to do is sacrifice one of the vortex/frogspawn females and put the male in the pot in its place.
I will decide for sure tomorrow. Besides, the vtx/fsp in question is looking a little shitty in the chlorophyll department. Not variegated, just…dulled. I’m not overly sad to see it go.
Such a move will dramatically affect the outcome of such a micro grow but what can you do? I think this gives me the highest chance of success.

Nah it’s ok. I’m shoehorning this whole grow so even with decreased yield from one less plant it’s not the end of the world (besides, I’ve got another one)

You could just houseplant the vtx/fsp fem for a while if you were still on the fence.

Ok enough screwing around I did it:
Good news is the females were just transplanted so I popped her out, popped this one in, no stress no mess.
The cab looks better now.

Good timing. It begins:
I’m going to move the male closest to the intake to suck the pollen over the canopy.
Keeping a close eye on one. Ugly bits? Maybe.
A couple weeks of pollen drop and I’ll remove the male and full steam ahead.

Yes and no.
The seeds will have enough time to mature.
I’ll probably have to pick the buds a little prematurely but it’s just going in the hash pile so no big deal.
