I didn’t clone her, but I still have small branches on the plant that I could reverse. I think Mrs Coda is sampling her today to give her opinion I can’t imagine her not being a favorite. She truly does smell like a very strong lemon gorilla glue. It’s uncanny. GG is a big favorite here.
This is my new mantra
Nice! Sounds killer!
Those CJ in there look epic already! You running autopots everywhere? I ran them when they made the first iteration that came to weed shops, 6 years back maybe 7 and loved then but hated the size (only had 3GS) but now with all the additions and bigger sizes etc. I’m contemplating them or octos
Some of the tops got a bit stretchy, still don’t have quite the handle on this HLG 600 Rspec as far as distance and intensity. I’ll get there…
Yes. Autopots in both tents. The 4x4 being the newer aquavalve5 with larger tubing. 3.9 gallon containers.
I may eventually ditch them once I get more educated, go rdwc perhaps.
Look fwd to her thoughts…
It amazes me how you guys can distinguish smell so definitively, it all just smells like good weed to me.
Love my RDWC (current culture) nothing like it
Im a GG fan boy also , i like its flavor profile and power . I rate GG like Tahoe OG , hits me just right .
Have you run Space Monkey ? GG power and half its flavor , big terp hit from the Wookie.
Hey @Jetdro - I was thinking about you while I was trimming because her bud structure reminded of a wedding cake we grew a while back. She looked very similar to yours. It’s the kind of bud that you get the very tips of the scissors into to get the small leaf tips and trim tight
@GCBudz - I was thinking of you as well. I’m starting to get into the smaller buds, and much like you, Mrs. Coda prefers to consume them smallest to largest. Which cracks me up
Sorry to hijack convo, but what do you like about RDWC? Exclusively a soil man, myself. Trying to learn more, though.
Chem91 S1s and CJx91s are cruising along very well! Easy to grow. No issues, some of the biggest fan leaves I’ve ever seen as well!
Honestly SO MUCH!
Number 1 is growth rates, it’s mind boggling once a good amount of roots reach the beautiful bubbling water they just explode and do not stop !
Number 2 is no bugs, never had a single bug come into an rdwc grow, although you do have deadly pathogens like pythium to watch out for
Number 3 is how clean/flavourful I found the buds to always be, even my terps seem to be more pronounced than coco , ebb and flow etc.
Number 4 is how easily automated those setups can be, so much so that other than refilling co2 bottles and some defoliating you can almost let ‘em go.
@MrsCoda… that’s just weird… and proper at the same time. OCD for everyone!
I mentioned RDWC but also considering ebb and flow using a tray.
@DefNSmokn those are coming along great. You may need support of some type when the limbs can’t take all that weight.
Those look great @DefNSmokn very nice! The leaves on that one are ridiculous! I love it, I seek out HUGE leaf phenos , double serrations , super wide leaves and unique shapes and serrations as well. Those are super interesting now
@GCBudz yeah I have some bamboo sticks I will put in there, probably tonight lol.
@TopShelfTrees1
Yeah the one in the back corner, with the biggest leaves, I mean gargantuan leaves, is a CapJunky x 91. They seem to have the bigger leaves.
The blue leaf, short indica looking one is a Chem91 S1. It looks different than the rest, the rest all exhibit similar traits.
Short blue leaf pheno Chem91 s1
Giant fan leaf CapJunky x Chem91
Both strains are epic looking all around!! Nice work to both of you.
Being honest I’d trade space for a young mans back.
A friend of mine up in Canada just harvested two Cap Junky plants grown from S1 seeds. To say they were huge is an understatement.
Those are really nice LDA
