GC flowers Cap Junky and Chem 91

Yes solid lid, cut a slot to center for plant stalk. Should also allow airflow still i would think.

Clay balls would work. Matter of fact i was thinking using them as the airbase for the rest of my containers… i have two sets for each system… total of 16. Would be much cheaper than 12 more bases at $10+ shipping for all of them.

My wife just bought me one! I gave her that look and reminded her why i pay for the nail salon every other weekend.

If I was going to try one of them as a lid

I would use weed control fabric and just tuck it in like blanket

This winter I’m trying sips method for my mums with mapito , just for the craic

Ill keep the weed blocker in mind, could clip it to the outer lip with these…

That would be quick and easy.

Oversize the weed control fabric and use big elastic band / bungee ? Around outside of pot

Youv done this before… lol

Good ideas bro… thank you.

Ok so as it stands now the seed run will be the following:

Chiquita Banana from clone
Slurriking from seed
5150 TK x TK from seed
And hopefully one of the two beans i dropped last night. Bag seed from Headband flower i purchased from SkunkVA.

All hit with a reversed Cap Junky.

Everything will veg till after my mini vacay, return and start spraying CJ 1st week of November.

Something in the back of my mind is the clay balls as lid might be heavy and overtime compress the rock wool ?

Probably won’t but just has me thinking of every possibility / senario

I doubt that would have any negative effect.

Both of the headband have good tails from overnight in paper towel. Ill be putting them to growpito in solo in a bit.

After i take a few hits from my first Blue Dream doobie… ;).

Ill be super happy if you get that Slurriking to work out! Will be worth the rest of the seeds sacrificing themselves lol

Not yet @JAWS I have it slated for the upcoming run to get hit with cap junky.

BTW, never got back to ya, no banana that i pick up. I still smell lemon, even so on an unlit doobie toke. I’ll update again later after a proper cure. Friend here sent her to me, originally from @JohnnyPotseed perhaps he has more info on the cut?

ahh nice BANANA JUNKY could be a very cool mix. never grown that banana but the cap j was a pretty insane one just way to small on the yield. but other then that she was a real winner.

awesome …

I’v read where a few of you have said the same on CJ yields, mine have diminished a bit to be honest. My best was 5oz per and working the canopy to fill the trellis, and take everything below the trellis… which i havent done of late.

CJ is a strain that I believe likes to be worked like an Australian Shepherd likes to work. You can top it endlessly if you wanted to and it would play along. If you take the time to train one to end up with 8-10 main branches and spread her out in a 7-10 gallon pot the yields will be there I’ve found.

You know my suggestion…AC Infinity, the larger of the two sizes. I have two buddies who insist that the TrimBag dry trimmer does a fantastic job and if they weren’t so expensive (for what it’s made of) I would have bought one back when I was shopping for one. Perfectly content with the AC Infinity bowl trimmer. Stainless steel is a nice material for things like this.

I use floater screens on mine. Keeps them spread out. These two cjc91s are almost ready and I’m pretty sure this is gonna be a load of weed…lol
