Greenleaf Nutrients MEGA CROP Q&A/Support/Pictures/Feedback/Anything thread

The yields are lower but the quality is much higher and every plant is happy so I’m fine with the results I’m getting. :+1:

@oleskool830 , I found that when i tried to use only water to finish the last two weeks or so, that my plants looked like i had overfed them and it looked like nute burn, so best just dropping the dosage to a minimum bit by bit ,til finished. ( ime.)
Good luck bro.

@GreenleafNutrients Think the feeding calculator is broken on the site, for the supplements.

Calmag says 1.5grams per gallon which when you flip to PPM 500 Scale it says only 100ppm which if I add 1.5grams my ppm hits 200ppm.

Bud Explosion seems to be off also saying 1gram per gallon in early flower and 1.5gram for bloom/flower and when you switch to 500ppm scale both say 100ppm.

Thanks! We updated the BE to reflect the higher PPM/EC using that measurement.

Also, regarding the 1.5 per gallon, and your meter reading 200+ (instead of 100+):
Is your meter confirmed to be 500PPM type?

Possible we can recheck if there seems to be a mistake.

So I just mixed up 3.5gallons, using RO water and my ppm is 5ppm. I add 4.7grams (site says 5.5grams) and I get 205ppm. If I followed the recommended I’d be at 250ppm.

I caught it as I’m now tracking which strains like what amounts, and setup my calculations based off how much grams I add.

Thanks @TrevorLahey! Precisely what I was looking for.

I have a couple questions regarding the calmag ‘marshmallows’ in MC. Is there any reason I shouldnt put some mc into a blender to mix these chunks in more evenly? Also, why don’t you just grind them up in production to make the mix more consistent?

I grind mine in a coffee grinder.

I mix mine up in hot water. It works a treat. I then add that mixture into my rez a little at a time until I’ve got the EC where I need it.

Ya I do that sometimes when I’m in a hurry. My issue isn’t so much dissolve time but rather not getting a consistent amount of marshmallows per measure.

@oleskool830 love the smell. I used to really love the smell of pureblend and superthrive when I used those too, but sm90 is the best smelling plant food I’ve ever smelled!

You could do that. Usually small growers would need to be concerned about this, (mixing 1 gallon only or so).

Usually we suggest to just mix a concentrate like 100g in 1000ml, the dose 10ml = 1 gram dosage.

You could do either one.

Good to know, thanks! Soooo just out of curiosity why don’t you guys just grind everything up together? Is there an advantage to the marshmallow form?

Not hating by the way, love your product!

Hola Mega Crop

I bought a 2.5 kg I ask for Canadian $
I got charge 8$ for shipping so far so good

But when come time to pay you’re transfer
to a site in the state and even if you say
I want to pay in canadian they charge you
for the money transfer

So a package of 37.74$ end up costing me 52.07
and all that because even when you choose canadian
money it keep counting it in americain.

I am not Happy
Fix your site

yes we do have reasons

this is a currency conversion. $37.74 USD = $50 CAD
The prices on USA and CANADA website are identical, you may have to pay an extra 1-2% for the currency conversion fee, the payment processor takes that. You can get the Canada website to display CAD prices, there is a currency selector option on the bottom right column of the site

If you have a Canadian IP address, it should automatically put you on CAD currency

Actually, I checked your order, and your IP address is a USA address. So for some reason your internet is masking you as being in USA. Maybe we can try to just always make it CAD regardless of your location.

@Gaz29 this is an interesting result for a flush–can you help me understand why continuing nutes would mitigate burn? appreciate the guidance

Idk… im no scientist but i think it’s something to do with the plant having lots of ppm’s through its life and when you just add water only, it’s making the soil hot ( i think.). Some more people here should know more… sorry, that’s the best i could do @lazylightning.
You will enjoy megacrop ( i like it for its simplicity etc.)
Happy growing/smoking ,
