Greenleaf Nutrients MEGA CROP Q&A/Support/Pictures/Feedback/Anything thread

Is anyone here using the new 2 part and if so what ratios are you using. The feeding recommendations GLN provides seem high and varied but it also seems to have enough Mag that using the jacks321 would be feasible but without the Epsom salts.

From playing around with their calculator Iā€™m considering using it at 3 A to 1.5 B and just using that as a KISS type formula.
Oh and Iā€™m using well water that has a decent amount of calcium in it so that should help with the C/Mg ratio.

Anyway just wondering what everyone else is doing with the new 2 part.

With reference to the well water, have you checked the pH? Just to make sure youā€™re not north of 8.0 or too acidic and having the nutrition less available.

Mega Crop 1 part is the ā€œKISSā€ formula. For 2 part, it excels in 2 part fertilizer injectors and customization, so you should definitely take a few more steps to vary your feeding depending on life cycle time to take advantage.

Thatā€™s a shame to much postage cost for a product in uk and no option to collect. Do you have expansion plans in uk ?

I think Jake has been down there since last August. He moves back and forth between the rooms. I see him hanging on the sides of pots, on the wall, clinging to a power cord, sitting on top of the AC unit, and who knows where next?

Thank you, @misterbee.

Absolutely gorgeous grow man! Thai in the 70s was stringy but potent as hell. Good Growinā€™ brother. Can you inform an old hippie about the ā€œgeniusā€ moniker? Iā€™ve not heard of this. Thanks man.
Blessingsā€¦

This is the best I can do, @oleskool830. I received this cut from a friend several years ago.

Thank you for the compliments on the grow. I have recently gotten it back into shape after months of neglect. Septoria/Yellow Leaf Spot got a hold during that time of neglect. I mistakenly thought I was chasing a K deficiency. It wasnā€™t long ago that the flower girls looked like this:

Veg room looked like this:

@Solowolf, Jake knows how to hang and how to chill. Thatā€™s him back in March.

This was taken in early May.

My well water varies between 7.1-7.3 but is steady in that range.

As for the 1 part, it worked great for me when I was hand watering but Iā€™m switching over to a res and Iā€™ve read a lot of people saying there were issues with it, so thatā€™s why I got the 2 part.
But now that Iā€™m going that way Iā€™m gonna stop worrying about grams/gl and start doing it all off of EC. But in doing so I want to find a steady amount of the A and vary the B from heavier in veg to possibly none in late flower.

Those are three different frogs, Jake, Jay, and James. Donā€™t let Buzz fool ya! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Glad to see the plants making a recovery.

Iā€™m still using the 2.0 I won off of you over at RIU a while back. OMU over there.

What the hell are those white balls that suck up moisture like a sponge? I spilt a few on the grow room floor today and 5 min later when I went to sweep them up they were gooey wet brown blobs on the floor. Those things are massively hygroscopic. I used to work for a farm chem supply up here driving anhydrous ammonia to the farmers but did bulk dry fertilizer mixing with a bobcat for the farmers. 1 scoop this, 2 scoops that, run the blender and auger it up into the trailer. None of that stuff was hygroscopic.

I scooped out 200g and grownd it up in my mortor and pestle but should have kept it in a sealed jar. By the time I had 50g left it was turning to mush in the sandwich container I kept it in. Iā€™ve had mine for over a year now and switched it to a Ziplock freezer bag and itā€™s still dry and fine.

I used some to water in my auto fem girls that got planted outside today. Hoping for big things!

Iā€™d wager heā€™s chasing questions on dozens of sites at the same time and if he had to hire more people to deal with it all heā€™d have to raise the prices.

So many of the questions are very nOObish too. Itā€™s made to be dummy proof but people keep making better dummies. lol

I should have known. facepalm

10 years ago I was hauling water for a drilling rig and they had pallets of 100lb bags of CaNO3 so I asked the mud man for a couple of cans of it so I could use it for my plants and in our garden. Came back to find two 5gal pails of it sitting by my trailer steps. Stuff is like blocks of shiny concrete in the pails now. could always chip it off and use it I guess but donā€™t wanna.
