Greenleaf Nutrients MEGA CROP Q&A/Support/Pictures/Feedback/Anything thread

Yeah, I phased out the cal-mag supplement with diamond k gypsum in coco/peat/perlite using Meg 2 part and Sweet Candy. Amazing results. I will be updating pics in my outdoor The Gauntlet 2023 this weekend. Edit tonight after feeding.

You’re both talking about water soluble gypsum?

Calcium Carbonate generally is not too soluble in water

My meg B dissolves fine when I give it a couple shakes in a half gallon and then blast the other 1 1/12 gallons on Jet with my Aqua Joe. :sunglasses:

I stopped using cal mag sup with Meg A and B. 2 weeks ago started using Diamond K gypsum at 1/2 tsp per gallon once a week in my nute feed. Coco/Peat/Perlite-Vermiculite. Never going back to Cal Mag. Great results.

did you actually need Cal Mag? the formulas should be mostly complete to prevent the need.

My first time using Meg 2 part. Probably not. I stopped using Cal Mag because Meg has plenty of Mag. Gypsum is definitely helping with CEC.
I’m using half dose of both A and B. 1.5 grams per gallon + 3/4 gram Sweet Candy. I use other supplements though.

Coco and LEDs (at least the theory) yea I need the calmag lol. I’ve got solution grade cal 96 from DTE.

Oh btw growmies, I’m just using the 1 part megacrop through veg.

That one part is supposed to be really good. I like the 2 part so far.

For veg it’s awesome. For flower last run I used maxibloom and got better results. Could probably doctor up megacrop 1 part slightly for bloom. Cheap ass veg nutes though that I don’t have to add much of anything to.

Hey, @GreenleafNutrients , do you have an estimated time when you’ll have the Megacrop 2-part A back in stock? I’m running real low and have been waiting for a restock.
C’mon…I know you got some stashed in the back for cool guys like us  ! Thanks!

Wow, that was quick! Awesome thank you, I appreciate it!

no problem! We are upgrading and redoing the formula, so it took longer and production this time since we needed to design and produce new bags. Also the Covid supply chain is finally starting to stabilize for shipping delays, and also raw fertilizer materials prices are finally starting to creep down .

Used this for my first run and some of my plants in flower are dark green and waxy still. Thinking too much N. Bring an all in one nute how do you dial it back? Anyone else have this issue? First chop didn’t smell to strong thinking N may be affecting it

I’ve been using it through a couple of iterations for a few years in coco. What ec are you running, and are you adding anything else?

If I want to dial it back, I lower the ec, but that rarely happens
