No more hearts so
Just give them a 14 day dry and they are good to go in the grove
I live in desert 14 days they would turn to dust.lol. I struggle to get dry to last 7 days let alone 14.
PREACH! I hang whole plants in a small space, and still have to run a humidifier to get em past a week.
Don’t even get me started about trying to preserve terps during a summertime dry!
I guess I’m lucky. My outdoor shed is cold and humid in Oct
A 5 or 6 day hang is as long as I can go, normally, around here without going too dry.
Been using them now for as long as they have been available in the UK. Dry as normal, then I use teh moisture meter aiming for 12%, I always heat seal it as it keeps my grubby little mitts away from it for longer. Truly seal and forget, initially i used meters and stuff to test, but now I dont see the need at all - whatever bag is opened after a 3 or 4 months heat sealed is truly splendid, everything is retained.
I find doing the heat seal as high up as possible the best way, then to open cut just under then you can keep reducing the size of the bag until that plant has gone.
Mango smile - bagged beginning Nov
Purple Punch - same bagging time as above
I find them an arse to store though, jars were easier for me
The fire looks like it’s curing very well.
Both are beautiful buds but DANG! I want to grow some Mango Smile! I don’t grow for looks but I would with that strain. I bet it has the stuff though or you wouldn’t bother with it. lol
Note to self. Grow Mango Smile.
She was a lovely plant, when growing she had the whole ‘greasy’ thing going on, and the stench of over-ripe fruit sitting in a bucket of diesel. Now she has cured for a few months the taste and smell is very mango with the fuel taking a back seat.
This was her in all her greasyness a few days before the chop - 70 days from seed (give or take stoner timing)
She is lovely
Oh man! That’s a showgirl!
How you doing brother. @MoBilly
I’m doing fine bro. I think things are getting better. My mind is on happier things more often than not. That’s a big thing. lol
How about you and yours?
Good, I got no complaints. Well one The Chargers.
I’m a Chiefs fan so…
A very quiet yay!?
I’ll whisper lions fan.lol ugh
I will use a paper bag. After a few days drying. I the like the cure bags from what I have seen. @MoBilly likes them.
I’ve been sweating out buds in paper bag to get sweet spot.
What size have you all found works best for cure in grove bags? I know surface area and all that, but is golf ball size to big or more like if a nickle was a ball size?
