I’ve got all sizes in one bag. popcorn to half-dollar size. Doesn’t seem to make a difference. All cures Kind.
What @ColeLennon said. I don’t sort sizes of buds. They all do fine together. I like the 1/4 lb bags for curing.
@MoBilly the rehydration of the Boveda pack was a success thank you for the tidbit of info.I sealed it in a jar next to an open shot glass of water for 48 hours and she plumped up again like new.Out of grove bags into Cvault like cans with said Boveda pack.The Cure was excellent Grove bags for the win so much win.Buds were just moist enough to roll non boating joints and stay lit in the ashtray till you put it out.If I only had smellovision to share with you guys.This GG#4/Chem 91 cross absolutely reeks the taste is like something burning in Valhallas halls
Most excellent! I’m so happy to help.
Those are niiiiice looking buds man! I’ll never go back to jars. lol
I had to put these up the big boys are in jars I dip into daily and I haven’t touched anything else in my doomsday stash so I know this one’s going to go fast it’s all I’ve been smoking I can’t put it down.
IKR! My pot never smelled so good or tasted near as clean as they do now.
First time I ever had anything GG and I see why the folks like this one Tony Green holy shit
You don’t smell the buds odor anymore you smell the plants Aura now it has reached peak nirvana now
Yeah. The OG x GG#4 RIL is amazing. If you get a chance, grow out some. It’s the stinkiest awesome pot I’ve ever grown. lol
Do you need to heat seal them to get a year + out of it?
I would say it’s recommended, but I’m at 7 months on some and it’s still fresh and not dried out.
7 months just using the ziplock feature only? Cool
Yes, just the ziplock. Just smoked a nice joint of Pistachio, and is as fresh as the day I pulled it out of my Cannatrol. I have them stored in a cabinet in the basement though, nice and cool, and that probably helps it stay as long as it has.
Cannatrol working well ?
Absolutely love it!!! Best thing I’ve ever added to my grow equipment. Put a batch in, hit the start button, let it run its cycle, done and ready for jars or bags. No burping, watching hygrometers, worrying if it’s “too wet”, if it will mold. It pretty much takes any and all guess work out of drying and curing. People scoff at the price, say “It’s just a wine fridge” “I can make one cheaper”
Have yet to see anyone make one that works as the Cannatrol does, and there’s more behind it than a “wine fridge”.
Once I did a thorough watching of the videos, and interviews, I decided to get one, then my wife surprised me with a “present” and it was in my living room when I got home from work.
My drying room is pretty dialed in, and has done me well for many, many years, and a side by side comparison of the same strain, the Cannatrol won hands down, just plain tastes better, don’t know about the potency, didn’t have it tested, but it definitely tastes better than what I pulled from my drying room, and a lot less work.
@Kgrim ,
Thanks for the read.
I just read up on the Cannatrol box. It looks great, however, $1,600 for something with a one year warranty is not great IMO. I am too poor and frugal to chance that much scratch on something the manufacturer will only stand behind for one year. If it fails at one year and a day it took me $133 a month to test it out. They need to show a little faith in the product before I would take that chance.
If that one year warranty were bumped up, even to three, I’d pop on it if I had the cash.
It only has a 1 year warranty? And it costs $1600? I dont think I could justify something that expensive with such a tiny warranty. Anything less than a 5 year warranty for that price isn’t good.
I was considering one but only 1 year warranty on a $1700+ (with tax etc) fridge/dehumidifier? Makes me suspect of the parts reliability. That’s just disappointing.
100 % understand all those concerns , I go through it too .
Gonna get me one , ya only live once and worrying over my bud drying is not my idea of fun
@Jetdro ,
Good for you bro! I hope you get many many years out of it. Truly, it looks awesome to have, but the way I live is rather lean most times. I’ve learned to watch my spending closely.
