Grove Bags.... Has anyone tried them on a cure?

We certainly love ours. I have only gone 1 round with them, but they’re easier and less chance of me breaking them lol I was very skeptical but now convinced. I even used them to store food, like coffee and some dehydrated stuff I make.

@Jetdro @ColeLennon @ShitSeeds
Thanks for the reports guys. When I started the thread I hadn’t tried them and was a little hesitant to even start the thing because I hadn’t tested them myself. I’m very happy that they turned out to be a good product. I for one, will never cure in jars again. I have just enough for my needs but I’m buying some for down the road. You never know… I’ve seen good things suddenly become unavailable before.

It’s not really in the nose per say it’s more of in the back of the taste buds kind deal.My nose is shit after Covid I lost a lot of my smell.I know it’s loud shit if I can smell it.

Do you grind own beans? Big difference in the freshness of coffee?

I’m not him, but I grind my own. It’s the only way for me.

Brother, YES! Preground beans are traaash. The amount of exposed surface area allows ground coffee to oxidize significantly in the first 24 hours, and beyond that it’s just stale.
I’m not saying undrinkable…most people are used to the flavor of shit coffee, but fresh ground is the way to experience it.
Think about your herb: Do you grind it up and just leave it in a bag until you smoke it? HELL NO.

I see @MoBilly and @HeadyBearAdventures already covered it, but YES, grind your own everything if you can. Coffee and cannabis are a good place to start, but even garlic, chili pepper and lemon to name a few more. I dry and grind almost everything we have seeds for haha Its become an obsession.

I’ve been addicted to the powdered Habanero I make. I’ve got a bunch hanging and just pull them off as needed. lol

Ok guys my product has been curing in grove bags for over two month now. The humidity around the bags is around 20-30 and I tested to see if the bags retained the 55-62 and they did. I currently can’t smoke as I’m trying to apply for a new job but sadly the strain I had curing in one grove bad disappointed a customer. He said the smoke was bad. I also gave him 3 other strains cured exclusively in jars and he preferred those over the grove bag cured strain.
I gave flower to another co worker and will report back on that too. This time I gave him two grove bag cured strains. One with jar cure cure and one with grove bag. The strain exclusively with grove bag which I didn’t put in jars (same as first customer).

Thanks for spelling this out as such…
SSDD hanging 4 days now, just trimmed Fans and am looking at a move into the Bag… going ahead with a tech-gear trial.

And your “Ziplock equalizer” @Jetdro

@Jetdro things have worked out well.
Took the 4-day hang buds, cleaned them up a bit, and went back and forth a few times in ziploc with a RH gauge. Rh would hit 69, out on the table for another hour, back in the bag and sure enough it slowed down last nite and we are now 12-hours steady at 63% in a full, not stuffed, 1 oz bag.

That’s how it’s done .

4 day hang dry? That’s pretty short time

63 upper limit , don’t let it get higher than that .

The 2 month curing bud coming out of my Groves in the cooler at 58 F and 58 humidity levels is SUPERB . I have never had better cured buds as far as look feel texture are concerned . I do not miss my jars on bit .

Looks like these bags are a must have.

I tried searching around and couldn’t find this, can you point me to it?

Thats just me playing with words.
Referring to Moving the bud from containment to screen in a rotation, until the Rh stays steady. Then Bag it. RH meter in-bag because its a first-time.

No issues letting it breath if it needs it

Lol
