Oh, cool! Is it in the mail? Is it in the mail??!!! oh, I guess you need to unpack your suitcase. That’s understandable. Aloha, and best vibes sent on your new home. Man, I just can’t see a whole lot of bad ever coming from that. I never got to the big island. I was only on Oahu but what a treat in the mid 70’s.
I knew some old time growers on a coffee plantation on the big island. They were from where I grew up and friends of a friend. I met them in Montana. All I’ll say is the Essco brothers. I met them through Joey in Montana. We all grew up in the same place. They may have been and stayed underground all that time. If you hear their name let me know. I know their first names but doubt they would be out there. They’re older than me.
Man, what a cool place to land. It’s got it all. Seafood, fruit, clean water, warm weather, and good weed. oh, and a few cute women…

I also love the little yellow star flowers on the zinnias hoping i get a nice variety of colors like last yr, those lil yellow stars really pop on the pink and orange ones

The purple ones are dahlias… I’m waiting on red ones and pink ones to pop up. So far I have leaves on what I think are the pink ones, but no flowers yet. If I remember correctly, my red dahlias come up later than these. I got a few container varieties last year as well. They didn’t do much. We’ll see if they come up this year. The pots are still empty. I didnt dig around to see if the tubers are still alive in the soil on them. So its a mystery! haha
In all honesty, my garden is nothing short of a mess this year. Apparently, I was depressed during covid and didnt mulch any of the flower beds. So along with my flowers, I have the evil bermuda grass all over the beds. It’s so outta control, I have to let the flowers choke some of it out and wait for all the plants to die back again in the fall and early winter to battle it so it will look good next year. I’m really regretting the covid depression, cuz the planters look wild to me and ugly where the spring flowers died back already or where the summer bulbs and stuff are still gonna come up. Hey, but my cannabis looks good and the cannabis patch itself looks good. It’s something. lol

Happy Saturday! It’s a bright sunny day here! @MidwestMover those sure do brighten my morning! Wish I had a field full of sunflowers!
I tried twice this year to make a flower field behind the garage where I tore out my trees. First poppies then wildflowers. Well, I got a few clumps of flowers, definitely not even close to a field. As many seeds as I put back there, the whole block should’ve had fields. 
watch next year I won’t be able to walk back there.

None of the “girls” are showing me any sexy pistils still. They are still being shy. I believe I have 9 confirmed females so far. Doubles on PWC, sour dubb and SSDD. The 2 fem seed plants, blue dream and cheese. And 1 glorious garlic. Obviously I check every day!
I guess, I could put a few in the ground. Certainly a Sour Dubb, SSDD and Cheese. Those females are golden! Super stoked on them!
The garlic female I have is magnificent and the most gorgeous plant of the 3, but I’m hoping one of the other 2 are females, just cuz they have skinnier leaves. However, I will not be disappointed if I am to grow big the one I have now. Same with the PWC, the 1st twin is the best looking lady in the bunch, but I hold out hope for the smaller PWC 2 to show pistils cuz she’s the really stinky one. lol
I never count my chickens before they hatch, but I haven’t heard from @Heritagefarms in awhile about the Blue Dream clone and that’s okay. If he’s not able to make his planned trip, i carry on business as usual. I have decided that the bd I have now is going in a 20 gallon pot and not the ground. If we are able to make the clone happen def the ground, but soon enough here, I will need to fill all 9 spots.
