And for your extra weekend enjoyment a few random plants…

First and foremost my prized Lilac bush! Bred specifically to bloom in my warm zone. 3 years now. She was a 3 inch twig when I got it.

Some really pretty yarrow I started from seed last year

New this year Russian Sage starting to bloom. This plant smells like LOVE!

Some Persian Shield. Scored this year as well! Found a nursery nearby whose owner loves unique plants and flowers like yours truly. That place is like Mecca to me!

You couldn’t have said it better!!! In all my ignorance, I have been learning more from plant profile, leaf behavior, yellowing of leaves, it’s getting light burn, wind burn, it’s this and that, some buds come along, yet, don’t show trichs, shyly, they start coming, we wait, take a bite out of it, let dry, feel a vibe but not quite there yet! Waiting game!!! It’s my first time, test of patience!!! But you, friend, have a lot under your sleeves! Congrats! :face_with_raised_eyebrow:     :upside_down_face: :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: :sunglasses: :cowboy_hat_face:  :innocent: :grinning:

Right now is a cake walk, but my mind is going now and it’s really time to top most of them. Soon enough and it’s gonna feel like a minute, I’m gonna be constantly pruning and supercropping these suckers. I’m getting busy in a hurry here.

Alright guys and dolls, it’s fairly obvious which sour dubb I’m going with, but which Sunshine Daydream should I pick? They look identical. Eenie Meeny Miney Mo?

Only one? Choose the smelliest I’d say.

So far! If I the last Maui Wowie or Kasmir are boys, I’ll be doubling up. And more than likely a second SSDD will go to ground. If I get 2 Orange Goji fems that’s a big time option as well, but they are 10 days behind and not telling me a darn thing yet!

This was a fun thread thank you for this. Kinda throws me off, by the looks of it you have neighbors pretty close to you, one overlooking your back yard, so they obviously know you grow a crap ton of pot:rofl::rofl: you don’t have any issues with them? I don’t know the laws of where you are. Keep up the great work!

I’m in Southern California. My plants are legal (Well, not right now as I have too many, but that’s splitting hairs). Most of my neighbors have lived here for 30+ years and I know them all. I’m pretty tight with my neighbors and I have to say, since its mostly homeowners around here and very few renters, every one minds their own business. So far, I haven’t had a single issue regarding my trees. However, I do padlock my gate come bud, in case riff raff walking by get a stupid idea. Right now quite honestly, the back gate is wide open and if someone really wanted they could grab any one of the 20+ plants out there. Strangely enough, my paranoia doesnt start until bud. lol

Once the padlock goes on, only a real moron would try to scale the 6 foot fence, try and tear a tree out of the ground and drag it back over the fence to get out without one of my neighbors catching them. We all mind our business until the point of suspicious intruders. We do have a neighborhood watch.

That is SO awesome you’re close with all your neighbors to keep a tight knit community. Looks like you have a guard dog too who would alert of ravish behavior lol. Isn’t it awesome how we are all alive at this time to personally witness the transition from the devils weed to accepted medical/rec use. It’s such an amazing thing well overdue. Keep up the good work!

Magnificent! What are those yellow beauties? They look like some sort of bulb, right? I’m on a big time yellow flower trip this year, been trying to add more to my garden. So far, only a few container flowers, but its a start! Thanks for sharing and as always… keep the flowers coming!!!

I believe that is a Canada Lilly. I have a bunch of them my yard. The Tiger Lillies will come out later into summer.

I love tiger lilies! I have some double tiger lilies coming up now actually! They must grow very nicely in Canada as well, because I’ve actually seen a few Canadians on here posting pics of them growing in the wild.

They really do, come the height of summer they come out in full force. Will throw up some pics when they do.

Nice Iine up @Meesh looks to be all killa no filla

I remember reading a few posts back you deal with humidity as do I so I’d personally go with the one on the left, looks to have slightly more spaced out nodes for the better air flow. :v:t4:

So, Mostly sat around here all day running my mouth to you guys, and have now loosely formed my plan for today. First, I have to run around town a bit. I want to make a gift basket for my friend’s bday that just passed as I will see her on Thursday. I was thinking some tequila, margarita mix, chocolate, snacks and whatever other fun shit I can find to put in there. Secondly, I’m gonna brew up some sort of concoction to feed the plants and top most of them. Clean my pruning tools and possibly go to town on a few. Its easier to do the first prune while they are in their pots. Then they will need a day or two before I plant some. I don’t want to shock them, although I did hack them all last year and transplanted them on the same day.

Amazing job so far Meesh! I really like that your doing it the right way and getting your soil tested each season and amending as you go.

That bug net you and your dad made will probably be a game changer this year, will be cool to see it up.
Also some beautiful flowers in your yard the beneficial bugs will love you.

I’m wondering if it could be beneficial to release some ladybugs and maybe praying mantis under your bug net at some point later in the season? Maybe they would stick around, at the most maybe go to your flower beds if there’s no food?

Looks great though I’ll be following along!
