Wow, it’s like the Oscars for plants. That just sounds amazing, I am going to sit over here on the grass and watch the awesome unfold if that’s cool with you. Best of luck.

All I can say is WOW…what a well thought out plan & bang up job on the structure !

I was just reading about this structure in the latest issue of Mechanic’s Illustrated. Very interesting. Some of the world’s leading scientific minds were discussing it. :face_with_monocle:  (mentions of future life on earth with the utilization of this technology possibly inevitable).

This is going to be so epic. Tell your dad he is the shiznit!! (sorry white moths!!!). I love it! I want one but I can’t afford it. peace

Damn y’all. I swear I’m blown away every time I look at that. Your dad should get a patent and a manufacturer. It’s on the level of grow tents for outside grows. right? This could be the next best thing! (seriously! you and your dad are in LA… gotta be a thing for this!) peace

Hey @Meesh, been following along but haven’t chimed in yet to say how amazing all of this looks!

Sorry to hear about all of the males, that sucks.

Just a thought here - if you have ended up short on numbers but not enough time remains to crack a seed or two, have you considered finding an older clone from some local shop? I guess I’m thinking about a “teen” or more established plant.

I’ve had really good experience with So-Cal Cuts on Strainly, and most of what he has sent me are basically established plants in the 12-16’’ range. I’ve actually interacted with the guy quite a bit (we’ve swapped a couple things too/my GMO for his Blood Orange Sorbet for one), and I’ve never sensed that he was misleading me or obfuscating in any way, so seems like a stand up guy. Prices are not outrageous, all things considered. He is in San Juan Capistrano.

Again, really great work; even if it is overwhelming, at least the hardest part seems to be finished!

You guys really out did yourselves, amazing job.
Those catapillars don’t stand a chance, can’t wait to see how well the plants thrive this year, you have monsters anyway but with no bugs to do any damage I’m thinking ull get some monsters on steroids this year, can’t wait to see

Happy growing :seedling:

The last SSDD was male. It hit the green waste can. Can you believe that I still can’t tell the sex on the others? I really think I am second guessing myself now. Why wouldnt all the females be showing pistils by now? If there is a calyx there should be a fucking hair right? I’m starting to think they are all male. I’m really starting to lose my mind. Last year if they were female they just had a fucking pistil even when microscopic.

Lol. They’re trying to keep you on your toes.

When you plant outside the plants naturally take a longer time. Like more than a month. You have to force them by getting them into 12/12 for a couple of days. Then they usually begin to show. Especially if they are as far along as yours. Good luck. It’s maddening trying to figure it out any other way.

The females do take some time extra to show but you are right it’s quite possible they are all males.

Can you get clear pics of the nether regions?

Edit: what date last year did they show?

I was trying to get pics today with my wifi scope, my hands are too shaky. I’m sure some of you would know immediately. Hence, even more frustration. They were all in the ground by now last year.

They are pretty darn hard to keep steady, I use a stand or just something to put it on at the right height with a cloth underneath it to keep it steady then you don’t have to hold the camera with it shaking all over the place.

If I have time on Thursday, maybe I’ll drag them into the garage one by one and rig something to put the stand on at the right height. I’ve spent too many hours with the loupe trying to find out. At this point I really am starting to second guess myself.

The Orange Goji, are the only ones that I’m not tripping on. They have no sex organs at all yet. They were in the last batch germed.

Wait @Pedro_Bann … I just checked last years log. I was still trying to sex them now at this time. June 20th all but one or two showed. I guess I’m freaking out for no reason. The first overachievers that showed so early apparently threw me off. Glad you mentioned that. Seriously. I feel much less stressed out. lol

And damn, now I really have to feed them again. I’m getting lazy, They are getting some cheap liquid 7 dollar fish fert.

Ah, that’s cool. I’m bad about not keeping notes. I’m trying to add more notes to the calendar app. It helps.

June 20th, that means you’re getting close. Here’s to lots of females.
