Harvested 2 JOTI Plants & Got ALMOST 10 Grams...Is That Good?

I’d say she was top of her class is veg vigor, buds look like they will be quite dense but time will tell there, top of class in trich coverage (blew away the 4 fems I ran right before her) better than my regs but not by as much. Bud to bare stem ratio is great with no training. Smell is strong but not strongest of her peers. I know from experience they can become overpowering almost overnight so we shall see where she goes on that front.

All in all I’m kinda sad she doesn’t have sisters

Thanks for that feedback, @Eagles009. It sounds like she’s doing as good as she looks!

If any of the other testers grow out a male and send some pollen back to me, perhaps you’ll be interested in searching for some step sisters? Chances are pretty good that they’ll be even more attractive and stable.

I would definitely run some more of these if the chance came up. (Not “more of these” exactly) but you get what I mean

Oh one other note it looks like she will flower relatively quickly. Which is not a deal breaker for me either way but I do prefer a strain that gets on with its business…all else being equal.

Looking like a studly male there, @Floyd. I’m not sure if it’s purple lighting or if those sacs are as colorful as they appear. If you look at the first post of this thread, you’ll see the male Candyland I used to make Cookieland, and he didn’t have any color to him, even though he was grown when the temps were quite cool. Of course, his mother is a different story - and I think most of us want these Cookielands to take after their mother.

For sure…like, in hours or up to a few days.

The sacs are definitely going purple its cool in that room.

NICE!!! So he does take after his mother. That’s exactly what I want for the back cross. Perfect!!

The three that survived are finally starting to take off not sure what happened there don’t think I’ve ever had plants veg this slow. They look completely fine don’t show any signs of stress.

Watch them.be like a recessive pure Durban pheno or something like that :joy:

Funny you should say that. Looks like I’ll be getting some “Red Pheno” 1973 Durban to work with soon. Although I plan to help the donor preserve it, I do also plan to see how it gets along with my GSC.

Thanks for the update, @Chronickyle! Looks like the 2 you just started are off to a good start. Let’s hope that’s a sign of good things to come from them

Color starting to come through a little more. Hoping it stays red and doesn’t end up purple. Should be beautiful either way though!

Thanks for the update, @Floyd!

TBH, I like that pheno! The fact that he’s showing the purple colors in the warmer weather (unless you add AC to your room to bring the temps way down). He also appears to have good structure - and seems to enjoy the diet you have him on. How’s the stem rub smell?

Here is a pic with out the blurple. Temp in that room is 67 at the moment.
Im not good with smells. The best I can do to describe the smell is sweet not gassy, no chem.
