Hash Making Revisited

Yep, they call it “jelly hash” over on the uk420 forums

Oooh interesting ill have a look.

Interesting that most people do BHO (butane)
I was planning on a RSO (alcohol)
You can evaporate the alcohol off and reclaim it with a pretty simple bodge job just cause im stingy im lookin at it that way. The end products are similar from my understanding after all the alcohol/ butane is evaporated?

yeah I just think BHO is more up their alley over there - I know some like it because they can soak the buds as compared to blasting or quick washing to get more out of it…butane picks up less contaminants than alcohol iirc so they can really let it stew

I’ve never made bho but from my understanding it tends to closer to oil consistencies (hence the ‘ho’) whereas iso hash is more stable and glass-like, grinding to dust as you try to scrape it off the evap plate. I imagine mixing bubble with bho makes a more “jelly” type product than qwiso/qwet would. I know my qwiso temple balls made from 25micron hash comes out hard like glass marbles

Anybody try goat skin hash?

Hash is filled in the pelt and once full it is stiched up. These methods are usually only seen done by the older generation of farmers and is no long a common practice, it is then left in storage for around 6 months or longer until it ready. Sounds like an ancient cobbing technique for hash.

I don’t think this is readily available in the 1st world countries, that has gotta be some connoiseur smoke.

Here’s some pics of goat skin hash in prep stages, this ancient tech was likely for preservation purposes but I’m wondering what sort of impact it had on potency ?

I think it’s along the same lines as this cartoon.

Maybe you’re right, but maybe that curing technique is stronger than what you’re working with now ?

This could take your hash game to another level. You could become the GOAT !!1!

No thanks.

I’ll tell you guys what… you go and start putting hash inside a goat, and then trot that over to the competition. Meanwhile… I’ll be making live extracts over here.
Uhh we’ll see where goat hash places in the competition. Just don’t bring any goat hash over here, it’s definitely not full melt.
I’m gonna crank out that meat breath hybrid hash today. The yield is gonna be shite.

I’ll call this GLOAT hash…as in I’ll gloat it’s the GOAT. I just cleaned the 90 micron screen and this came tumbling out. If I…just…resist it’s lure…I’ll be making hash in no time…oh shit, it’s calling me. Says it needs to be sampled…for science.

You are freeze drying live extracts?

hah hah I’ve changed that pile of bag dust into super hash by mixing in some rosin. I’m just going to trash the rest of the dust, it’s been exposed to room temps.

Behold, my first batch of ice water hash. Was probably about a pound of fresh frozen flowers. I definitely didn’t have enough ice. The crumbly pile with lots of plant pieces is 220-72 and the larger cleaner pile is 72-25.
