No way you would want to grow Kona Gold indoors. It never fully ripens, and grows huge-

Spain and Portugal are actually half the price of US living. Worth the look.

Spain and Portugal are two of my all time favorite places in the world, and I say that as some one that has a relatively strong dislike of Europe. There is magic in the air in those two countries; they feel alive. The rest of Europe feels very… something, maybe inorganic, cold or inaccessible. When I am in Spain, I feel like I can just melt into the earth I love it so much. The people are wonderful and they absolutely love giving me shit for my ‘ugly’ Spanish. I can get by in Portugal, but being conversational in Spanish takes the magic of Spain to another level for me.

I have thought very long and very hard about retiring in Rota. I spend a lot of time there and have fallen in love with the seaside.

Hawaii has a very different growing season then the mainland and also would have different types of light due to it’s global position in comparison to the pnw. Elevation can influence a plants phenotypic expressions quite a bit. Combine that with different soil and nutrient programs and I’m sure you would get a much different result then here. They are making lights now that can be adjusted to match the light of the area a strain comes from. Terroir is becoming a big thing in the Canna industry.
I have a kush plant that produces the most amazing terps ever if grown indoors , if grown outside she is good but loses something special.
Same soil same nutes , only difference is cooler temps inside and the light spectrum. Most of the other strains I grow aren’t effected like this and have the same terps inside or out. This one kush is a night and day difference.

Go to Google and search ( why elevation affects plants phenotype )

Yep yep, somehow I mixed Pinot noir and terroir together while typing , to much good weed lol
Appalachian rules should apply , people like Humboldt seeds using the name when there from Spain is shameful.

Alot of the word is that the breeder could possibly be using fake pics. Nobody wanted to ruin my day, so they didn’t respond on this thread, but I kept on digging.

I’m gonna try to grow mine out at some point.

I did see that thread, but for 25 bucks why not. I love Hawaiian strains, I had a trade for some of his strains for my Maui and Kona and fell through.

Half the pics on here from members look better than most of the pics by breeders and strainly. I work with almost all half packs leftover from the strainaholica, does that make me an enabler?

It is nice. It is a smooth, tasteful smoke. Great head high, that is also relaxing.

Definently one of the top 5 smokes for me.

Here is the bush 32 days in flower. This is from seed.

I have 2 smaller ones almost ready to harvest that were clones.

Here is one of the buds from one of the clones.

I am on The Big Island and would love to trade clones whenever possible. I have a Maui, Cherry Pie, Super Grape and Malawi in flower now. They all were flipped this past weekend. Mazar is strange in that it began flowering on her own, but not an auto. She was in 20/4 and began popping buds. Oh well, we’ll see. My other Mazar is in veg and going great. I also have Kona Gold x Cali O and Afgooey x Kona Gold that are just finished germinating and now into growth. I have several Super Grape clones.
These are larger clones that I made out of a panic after a windstorm dang near demolished my Super Grape Mom. She survived, barely, but now has left me with 5 more than the law allows. HA HA HA. As for seeds, I am getting low. I have some older Jack Herrer that I found in my seed bank. I can spare about 10 of those. I also have about 10 seeds from a cross of Gainesville Green x. Haze. Really enjoying collecting and growing. Looking to trade and enjoy.
