That’s interesting as hell! Strain switching does this to you?? Awesome ima try it…
Well even the dispensaries and their oil and flower and rso
Yes i was going to mention that too… rotating strains that work… don’t stay on 1 too long etc…
I thank all you ogers for all the wealth of knowledge and tips and information and everything yall are the closest thing to fam than fam
I agree that bringing compounds together and playing with the ratios is much wiser than seperating.
Since I started studying permaculture I see the importance of inclusivity coming up in all aspects of life. It’s such an important fundament that can be applied to just about everything in life, it’s always beneficial when you look at it long term.
You can get brewers yeast tablets to eat, they taste quite interesting.
Ahh yes - Blue Light Special Night Owl has those seeds
Yes it does. Just make sure that all your 15 or 16 strains in your toolbox are all strains you absolutely love . So even if you love Bubba Kush and want to use it constantly, you don’t because you have 15 more strains you love just as much or very close too.
Ha, o ya… I’m running fritter and mac1. These are the hardest hitting strains I’ve come across in a long time. Shit is so powerful. Puts me on my arse.
Thanks for the info. For real. I never thought about it like that, we will have to see what happens…
100% agree, great post.
And I don’t think terps have that big an influence on effect but it’s rather the ratios of the cannabinoids all together that makes the biggest difference.
The function of terpenes is enticement and seduction (insects, birds, animals and humans alike) for the purpose of pollination and distributing the seeds of the plants and simply joy.
Nature creates all kinds of beautiful nonsense just for fun!
I agree just the scent and taste is more than half of my want/need ratio
When decarbing pure bud or making edibles, a lot of the terpenes are subdued and perhaps destroyed, but it definitely doesn’t deminish the effect.
I agree, but that’s largely impacted by terpenes and other cannabinoids isn’t it? I’m more of a flower-smoker and try to rotate on a steady basis.
Dabs wreck me pretty good, but I’ve noticed my tolerance goes up pretty fast there.
I don’t consume commercial distillates or concentrates very often though. Typically they’re not really strain specific are they? Aren’t terpenes re-added to most commercial oils/concentrates?
I know one can get full-spectrum products, but have to confess ignorance in how they are prepared. Not sure it matters whether the terps and cannabinoids are added post production or not.
I’m more of an edible and vaper. I like them both ways, with terp and without. I find titrating high potency cannabis easier to do with vaping and homemade gummies. Bong hits “rip me” a dab will completely ruin 5-6 hours of the day. Vapin and edibles are relatively easy for me to titrate and control by jumping strains every day.
I can’t believe I only think of this now but @Pawsfodocaws please give your wife lion’s mane mushrooms for her Fibromyalgia and oystermushrooms will also stimulate apetite as it greatly improves digestion and helps regulate bloodsugar and cholesterol levels.
Combine with microdosing psilocybin mushrooms if possible, studies have shown it helps nerves heal, it should work brilliantly for Fibromyalgia in combination with lion’s mane and cannabis for soothing.
Psilocybin always gives me tremendous energy as well, to the point where I can’t sleep, so also ingest in the morning together with the differently timed decarbed cannabis batches I talked about earlier.
Look up Paul Stamets to get your mind blown, especially the book Mycelium Running.
You can find it here: https://be1lib.org/
And I’d like to thank everyone contributing to this thread, it’s beautiful to see so much great info here, thank you all!
Thanks bud, I’m just waiting for the right time to start the monos up again… I need new sub and syringes… sooooon. This is how I treat my ptsd.
The lion’s mane is available as dried powder and capsules, and even tea.
A high dose fresh ones has a relaxing very mild high, it’s kinda like the CBD of mushrooms.
Asian food stores are your best bet for fresh lion’s mane, if they are not available in your regular supermarket.
Thanks bud I appreciate the info, going to have to give it a try!.

@Terpsnpurps
They tell us it’s cbd, next week it’s cbg. Did someone say cbv… g???
All that jazz is just too confusing to me.
I roll it up. Smoke it. Then enjoy it.
That’s all I ask. So when it can’t do that, I smoke something else that does.
Can a mod maybe move this thread to Medical Club and perhaps make it a sticky, since it’s quite a common occurance for people to build tolerance.
In Medical Club it will reach more people to whom the info is relevant.
People who are in pain are less likely to sift through the Smoker’s Lounge.
Thank you for making this thread @Pawsfodocaws , it may help a big group of people all over the world.
